@ideafix Beto's accepted more money from fossil fuel companies than every other politician in the House aside from Ted Cruz. That includes ALL Democrats AND Republicans (minus Ted Cruz).

Beto O'Rourke has fallen so far since his Senate bid. This is what you get and deserve if you're a bitch for corporate interests and try to play yourself off as a progressive and taking no corporate money.

Beto doesn't need to stream himself going to the dentist to be likable, all he has to do is not be a bitch for corporate interests and fossil fuel companies.

@ideafix All time. He was a House member for many years before his senate race. This was one of the first things that David Sirota dug up on Beto after people in the establishment forcibly started floating the idea of Beto 2020 and was originally what started making people seriously second-guess Beto as a progressive at all and his already questionable actions and behaviors in when he was in the Senate race. I personally never liked the guy for his politics (apologizing to Cruz), but there was definitely always something fishy about why he didn't support Medicare for All and HR676. Not to mention, half the time he spoke in his debates with Ted Cruz like a neoliberal in platitudes and vapid anecdotes about "Amy and I, ...". It made a lot of sense when all the info about him surfaced.
