@tobuscusfoop "Sanders would give in to the military industrial complex", you're fucking high dude, Bernie's been against the military industrial complex his entire career.

@tobuscusfoop Tulsi Gabbard is the one whose fucking pro-torture, why don't you explain that one since you're comparing the two. Bernie's never been for violating international law. Just so you know, Torture is against International law.

You got that backwards. Bernie is the only one who can make it to the general.

Bernie's gonna run, why would he "back her". He's imminently getting ready to announce his campaign. He likely realized he's the only one who can clear the Democratic primary that would be able to defeat Trump. If Kamala or Biden make it to the general, we will get another 4 years of Trump. I have very very low confidence Tulsi would be able to make it as the nominee, with or without Bernie's support. It's a far FAR better strategy to just let Bernie run who is a household name. Most people outside of progressive circles still don't even know who Gabbard is, she will have the same problem Bernie had in 2016 except this time it's a much much bigger Democratic field.

@diamondkharness Why does literally all politics revolve around the DNC and the 2016 election to you people?

Unlike many, I don't really give a shit about Gabbard's past with Syria and Assad, I'm not interested in that. What I find "unforgivable" about her, as Kyle put it, is that she's stated that she is pro-torture and has not come out to reverse that stance. For all the people saying that she's "better than Bernie on foreign policy", I don't ever remember Bernie being in favor of anything in his 30 years in politics that violates international law. Torture violates international law.

Ironclad logic there. Just settle for the person MSNBC hates most, definitely don't take their policies into consideration, why would we do that?

@cattya4406 Bernie just got Amazon workers a wage increase only 2 months ago by using sheer people power to influence the richest man in the world. If you consider that "weak" and "caving to the establishment" then you can't be helped.

@tobuscusfoop Which was not against International Law. It was in accordance with NATO and numerous countries and in response to a genocide and ethnic cleansing in Serbia. I know you idiots want to beat a dead horse on "Yugoslavia and Afghanistan" but neither were against International Law, and since 9/11 occurred Bernie has voted to pull troops out of Afghanistan every single time. Whenever you talk about either of these, you're basically just fishing for something to bash Bernie with, it's fucking pathetic, I've heard these arguments so often from Jimmy Dore's fanbase. Just stop already, it's as bad as constantly deflecting to Venezuela.
