  3. I think the good news about Trump being acquitted is that it will have the unforeseen consequence of lessening the severity or threat of impeachment going forward. So say, if President Bernie Sanders is threatened with impeachment, all of a sudden more people will see it as a limp threat or political action.

  4. Nobody's "outsmarting" anyone. They walked into a fight they could never win. It's ignorance at a whole new level. At least with the Mueller Report, there was always a chance Mueller would indict him; With this, there was always 0% chance of removal.

  5. This thread is so fuckin' stupid. Debating whether Trump is "outsmarting" anyone when this was a fight he was literally always going to win. It's like saying your kid "outsmarted" the other kids at the spelling bee to win his participation trophy.
