There are many problems yeah, but he's at least backing the 3.5 Trillion reconciliation bill. He gets a good amount of credit for that from my perspective, because that bill would change the lives of all the seniors in my family, who spend tens of thousands of dollars on hearing aids & eyecare. He could definitely do more to force Dem Senator holdouts to vote for it, but he still gets credit nonetheless.

@LauraVee63 I think that was more just to compete with Trump since Trump was bragging about some withdrawal deadline he conveniently made for after his 1st term. I remember thinking at the time there was no way either one would hold that promise though, & @Joseph is right that I barely remember Biden talking about Afghanistan or Iraq at all, especially after the Democratic Primary. Completely withdrawing from Afghanistan was definitely a surprise.

@Darthmufin The facts don't care about your feelings. As somebody else pointed out look at how the MIC lobbyists reacted to Biden's decision.

I think somewhere along the way Biden realized that despite the media's garbage propaganda, the history books would hail him as a brave leader willing to do what 3 presidents failed at. A lot of responsibility falls on Presidents and they actually have a legacy they care about. The problem with Senators and Congressmen, is they don't really get pages in the history books, so they just ignore doing what's right in exchange for what makes them a lot of money down the line considering how corrupt our gov't & corporations are. It's strange, because when Joe Biden was a Senator he was absolutely one of the corporatists, but as a President, he's governing, at least on foreign issues, as someone willing to put the American people's wellbeing first even if it makes him unpopular. Just makes you realize how much Bernie Sanders could've done as President, given he already does the right thing as a Senator and has essentially his entire career.
