@Levixne If you were actually a Bernie supporter, you would understand why this interview was problematic. Also I'm pretty sure I've seen you before and you're literally a Yang supporter.

@libidinistlyn Anything that slightly paints Yang as anything less than perfect is considered hatred to the Yang Gang. They don't even understand that Kyle handles Yang with kids gloves.
11
@Levixne Lol I just saw you in another thread claiming to be a "bernie supporter" and a fan of Secular Talk and here you are bashing Kyle and Bernie and sucking off Yang all in one comment. Pathetic dude. At least don't lie about your bias next time.

Kyle handles Yang with kid gloves. Pretty sure he understands this even when a jerk-off comedian like Jimmy Dore sees through Yang's schtick.
5
@rodo2220 So was I. And just so you know I watch Kyle every day and he absolutely handles Yang with kid gloves, far more than Tulsi who he's much more ideologically aligned with.
5
He clearly did agree with them. Said that billionaires should be "praised" when no one with that much money could ever actually "earn it". Nobody is working so hard that they "earn" 1 billion dollars. It's total fantasy and ignores the massive crony Capitalism in our system.

@vikrantpulipati1451 Read his comment/s and see who exactly is being hostile.

@Levixne "All of his "positive" reporting of yang is factual and all of his "negative" reporting of yang is opinionated." So in other words, "All his positive reporting GOOD and all his negative reporting doesn't count". This is some grade-A partisan hackery.

'Eat the Rich' mainly = the Wealthiest 1% should at the very least pay taxes The far left is clearly out of control.

Yang thinks we can get rid of poverty and somehow not raise taxes on the wealthy, lessen the gross levels of income inequality, or at the very LEAST stop it from getting worse. His "human-centered Libertarianism" is pure fantasy.
2
@kanucklehead5001 "gaining support among Bernie's core base" when Yang is still at 3.3% in aggregate polls and barely ever polls above 5%, meanwhile Bernie is surging and statistically tied with Biden in many polls. Not too sure anyone should be worried about Yang "gaining Bernie's support".
2
Yang's gonna be pretty disappointed when he realizes you can't actually eliminate poverty without raising taxes on the wealthy (who constantly dodge taxes), fixing gross levels of income inequality to some degree, or at the very least stopping the inequality from getting worse than it is at this point in time.
2
It's about the system that is set up so people can make endless amounts of money while working less than any Janitor or Construction worker, a system that allows the wealthy to rig the system in their favor and pull up the ladder behind them, and the specific people that capitalize on this broken system so they can amass the majority of the money in the world and then pay nothing in taxes so it is never re-circulated back into the system.
1
It's not about "hating the rich", it's about hating the way people primarily get rich in America, which almost always includes some form of exploitation of workers along with sitting on your ass and trading stocks (ex. Mitt Romney).
1
It wasn't about defending Warren, it was about defending the position that a majority of the Democratic base is concerned about aka the wealthy dodging taxes and putting the tax burden on the poor and middle class. Yang should rightfully be dragged for this (btw he agrees with this as demonstrated by his own views on deregulation and regressive taxation).
1
Kyle I don't know why you're assuming Yang doesn't agree with them. His policies on things like deregulation and the way his Freedom Dividend is funded by a regressive tax shows exactly how little he's going to push back against billionaires, elites, and corporate lobbyists in Washington.

@stevemarchando4132 Claiming anyone is the Bernie 2.0 of 2020 is the biggest lie of all. It's the same thing for Warren, Buttigieg, and yes even Yang.
1
@stevemarchando4132 You mean the countless people saying "I don't hate the rich, I hate the people who make billions by exploiting their workers and not paying anything in taxes". Please, tell us what we actually think though since we're right here.
1
@stevemarchando4132 Because we all know cherry-picked Youtube comments == the actual ideology of the populist Left.

It's not about any one candidate, it's about pushing back on something that's dishonestly framed on a position that the vast majority of Democrats (and leftists) agree on. Last time I checked Yang was running in the Dem Party and had a portion of progressives supporting him, people in his own base.
1
Nobody hates the rich, they hate the system that allows people to become rich through the exploitation of workers and then getting away with paying nothing in taxes ie shifting the tax burden off the wealthy and onto the middle class and poor. If you don't understand that, then it's no wonder why you don't find it problematic that Yang didn't push back, and primarily just agreed with the host.

@k1ngfalcongaming783 Who have you seen tweet that? Are they a media personality or politician? Are they significant in any way or are you just throwing out a random tweet you saw once to prove a point? If so, that's pretty flimsy evidence. Also I'm literally telling you it's not disdain towards individuals, it's disdain towards people or groups who have exploited their way to the top and rigged the system in their favor by participating in corruption or legalized bribery. Not every billionaire is bad, but it's undeniable that most of them have in some way exploited workers to get to where they are and nearly all of them dodge taxes, which inevitably shifts the tax burden onto the people who are actually struggling in their day to day lives and ultimately creates the incredibly unhealthy/one-sided economy and society we live in today. Even if someone did say "there are no good billionaires" I still don't give a shit though. Do I think there are also at least a few decent individuals who work as corporate lobbyists out there? It's possible, but it doesn't change the fact that their profession is simply geared towards continuing corruption within politics and the overwhelming majority of them are soulless enough to do that job to begin with. Excuse me if I don't give a fuck about your concern trolling.
