Possibly the most underrated comment I've ever seen.

I think the comparison to Trump always fell flat though, because Modi is basically a real Hindu nationalist, whereas Trump is a fake White Nationalist and American Nationalist. Trump never helped the white American working class, he continued to shift more power and wealth to the elites while pretending with the rhetoric of a white nationalist. That makes him even worse than Modi because Trump is just a charlatan above all else, however, even if he was a real Nationalist and actually helped the white working class, it would still make him a dangerous leader in all the other ways he's already a dangerous sycophant. That still doesn't diminish the extremely problematic issues with Modi however, it only explains why comparing him to Trump doesn't work.

@squidfish7144 I'm convinced the entire history of the universe can be written only using Led Zeppelin song titles.

I always found it odd that there was a concerted effort from her supporters to essentially try to legitimize Modi as a reasonable leader, and even though he's done some good on India's domestic issues, that doesn't change the fact that he's unnecessarily escalated conflict with nearly all the Muslim nations and factions in his region and now cracked down on factions within his own borders in an openly authoritarian way.

The fuck? You guys aren't even remotely a part of Secular Talk's audience. This video was uploaded awhile ago and then a week later all the Modi fanatics popped up to make every excuse in the book for why a semi-autonomous region should for some reason have a communications blackout and then have their rights slowly and completely stripped away after the Indian government violated their own Constitution to do so. Kyle's not playing for a team like you, he's just speaking out for human rights, I know such a weird fucking concept to believe in.

So because of a few presumed attacks supposedly originating from that region, the entire region should have a communications blackout, be slowly stripped of their rights and semi-autonomous government, and have India do it by violating their own Constitution? I imagine you would also make excuses for why America had to go to war in the Middle East for 17 years just because terrorist attacks came from that general region.
