Just take note, this is what happens to a nation that has unfettered unchecked Capitalism and allows the ultra wealthy to buy the political system and rig it in their favor. The only way they pull something like that off is by dividing the masses, misinforming citizens with propaganda, and empowering demagogues that create giant tax cuts for the 1%. America has the largest GDP in the world, which incentivizes this behavior and results in a larger wealth gap and more suffering for the 99% of the population.

@kennethganpot8410 Just make sure you don't devolve into the same corporate oligarchy that the US is. Boris Johnson is now your prime minister so I would tell all of U.K. to be extremely cautious of their future and the potential repurposing of government.

@kennethganpot8410 Hopefully enough people are smart enough to vote in Jeremy Corbyn. If I had to guess 2020 is going to be Donald Trump vs Bernie Sanders and then in 2022 it will be Boris Johnson vs Jeremy Corbyn. We'll get to find out if this little thing called 'Humanity' is really worth continuing, or if people are just that dumb.

It's gonna be Bernie in 2020. Don't be a defeatist. These corporate candidates are jokes and Biden's numbers are in freefall still.

If you still think Biden's gonna make it to the nomination, you seriously haven't been paying attention.

@Kevin Michael You've "accepted it"? Yet Biden is doing terribly and can't stop his numbers from dropping constantly. I have seen literally no progressive host whose made the theory Biden would actually win and Not crash and burn within the first few debates (which is what's happening), yet you've somehow "accepted it".

Whiskey Drinker Biden is barely leading anymore and some polls have him dropping out of 1st place. His time is coming to an end after he dropped 10 points after the 1st debate. I don't know how anyone could think this guy is gonna last another year. Every month, he takes a beating in some way and loses massive support.
1
Whiskey Drinker But ALL polls have him drastically dropping especially after the first debates. He's not gonna make it man, there's no way unless he pulls some magic out his ass and decides to run an entirely different campaign and somehow play it off as if he was never shit to begin with. His last ad was about how some random lady loves her for-profit private insurance company and she "worked hard to get it".

@Kevin Michael Politics has drastically changed since only 3-4 years ago, you don't have to go back 50 years. Maybe you could make this argument in a Obama vs Mitt Romney 2012 race, but to say you know what's going to happen because you're basing it off the last 10-50 years of politics is silly. We didn't have a gigantic populist movement before 4 years ago, we do now and things are changing fast. The popularity rating of Medicare for All, Tuition Free College, a $15 minimum wage, and so on are all factors that you're not taking into consideration. These were NOT popular 4 years ago, they ARE now.

@Kevin Michael @Whiskey Drinker - The point is to both of you, stop being defeatist. Bernie has very good chances of winning this thing, probably more so than anyone else, considering Biden is tanking every day.
