I don't blame Zelenskyy, but yeah he should understand that an escalation to a NATO-Russia conflict (possibly Missile Crisis nuclear standoffs) could mean that Ukraine would be at ground zero of an even more cataclysmic war.

This is true about money not diverting to actual healthcare etc, however, by doing weapons packages you are also giving an opening to the right to act like they're the anti-war party (which they're not and only doing so because it's the opposite of what the Dems are doing). I think giving them any wiggle room on the issue of the MIC is a mistake, but I still understand both sides.

@mmartinisgreat Yes, so the bulk of the fighting would be at the core of eastern Ukraine. It's already getting ravaged, if you add nuclear warfare or NATO boots on the ground, it's just going flatten the country. A global escalation is not in Ukraine's or anyone's best interest. It's understandable they're desperate, but if you escalate to a NATO-Russia war, it's only going to harm everyone and everything, especially Ukraine most of all. Zelenskyy throwing caution to the wind is a huge mistake - I support Ukraine in the conflict, the Russian invasion is disgusting, but he's gotta be sensible and understand global conflict is the last thing Ukraine or anyone else needs.

@waltergrace565 That's my opinion anyways, I've been watching him for years. The reason I keep watching him is because he never lets his viewers' opinions govern how he views a topic and always puts his own opinion first even if it's unpopular. You gotta give him at least some credit for that, especially in a Youtube political world that's full of modern-day grifters and when you realize Kyle could probably make big bucks if he suddenly decided to sacrifice his principles and start to release nonstop anti-vax content, which seems to be a lucrative direction that inherently rewards Youtubers millions of clicks. Not saying that's not a low bar, cause it is, but I've always seen Kyle and a handful of others as straight shooters.

@waltergrace565 I would call this a 'controversial topic' for sure. A lot of people disagree on the war in Ukraine and pretty sure he even went as far as to propose his own version of a deal. I mean that's just asking for trouble
