  1. That wouldn't be true though. Medicare for All pays for itself. Bernie is right that you raise taxes, but people pay far LESS in taxes overall because you eliminate premiums, co-pays and deductibles. Medicare for All already SAVES $5.1 Trillion over ten years. You don't need any more funding for it. Also cutting defense spending should be used for rebuilding our infrastructure, it would be a better framing for cutting the military budget. "Stop the endless wars so we can rebuild our home".

  2. I saw Trevor Noah and the Daily Show literally cut out that 2 second sliver before the "but" where he says "Yes, you will pay more in taxes b--". Absolutely shameful from the Daily Show.

  3. Even if that is the case, I still think he could've done a better job at emphasizing that it would be a NET-SAVINGS. Kyle's tactic might work though, hopefully Bernie gets the message because we just don't want to give the media an inch. All they're trying to do is mislead the public.

  4. Somebody needs to send this to Bernie ASAP. I think Bernie ALMOST had it, but Kyle is right he needs to answer the question with a blanket "NO" so they can't even get that soundbite
