  1. It's so upsetting that FDR died soon after this, otherwise the United States could've realistically been on the same level of universal prosperity and happiness as a country like Sweden.

It's frustrating because Bernie Sanders was essentially calling for this stuff in his 2020 run, even referenced FDR's 2nd Bill of Rights in one of his speeches to hammer the point home, and yet the Democratic Primary candidates belittled his policies as being unicorns and fairies. Medicare 4 All is JUST ONE of these resolutions and the media and politicians tried to rip Sanders apart over it.
