There were polls that had him beating Trump by 20 points on election day, while Hillary was within a margin of error with Trump. I'm not trying to get into an argument with you about this, but you should know that it was almost a certainty that Bernie would've won. Hillary was within a margin of error and still beat Trump by 3 million votes, so that argument only works when you make your case that Bernie would've absolutely had to do WORSE than Hillary, when every single poll at the time showed that Bernie was doing far FAR better than Hillary in head-to-head matchups and was ahead of Trump by double digits going all the way to 20 points with some polls. Also, Hillary primarily lost because of losing in the Rust Belt states, Bernie does uniquely well in the Rust Belt states, while Hillary did uniquely bad in them. There are far too many holes in your logic, so I'll just stop here.

  5.  @MDP1702  "except maybe the democracy dollars thing". That's because Bernie took public financing and then raised it by $1 million by introducing a Constitutional Amendment and detailed plan and pathway to get money out of politics (that includes "democracy dollars" aka vouchers).
