True, but personally I don't mind celebrities running as long as they have an actual policy platform and their not just running to feed their over-inflated ego (something that both Beto and McConaughey seem to be doing). I supported Cynthia Nixon a few years back for New York governor, not because she was a celebrity, but because she was a concerned citizen who wanted to help the working class in New York.

  4. I actually don't mind celebrities running for office just as long as they have a real and thorough policy platform and their policies are designed to help their constituents. It honestly shouldn't be this hard to understand.
