@honestranking48 Here in America, the insurance is fucked up and just having the legally required insurance doesn't cover you if someone lit your car on fire (it's called Comprehensive insurance). If you went out on the street and started burning car after car, I bet you anything less than half of those car owners would be covered for Comprehensive damage. In America, it's the consumer who is liable for anything and everything. It's how the ruler class here controls us and why a "revolution" will never work in America. Even if it did happen, the government just wouldn't give a shit and probably send the police out to gun us down as if we were black teenagers with a water-pistol.

@vilecrocodile9171 Stock market's in free fall buddy. We'll be in a Recession by next year.

How well did the Charlottesville protest work, what about all the Antifa protests where they're breaking shit? Compared to that, the keystone pipeline protest was the MLK Washington March.

It's more about how we protest. America protests a TON, but the problem is that our current president divides us so much so when leftists go out to protest something fucked up, you have counter-protesters there just for the fuck of it. Instead of joining together against the elites, we end up protesting each other.

Shade Bleu Yeah but it's not effective. France got what they wanted because the Left and Melanchon supporters joined with the Right and Marine Le Pen supporters to protest a regressive tax against the poor.

@vilecrocodile9171 The economy is already not strong dude. It was never strong under Obama either. The rich and 1% recovered from the Recession, the poor and middle class never did, everybody just pretended like that's what happened because the unemployment rate went down and all the MSM networks say it's "strong", but now people are working 2-3 jobs just to get by. Don't pretend like I'm somehow the partisan one. I just explained to you that Obama's economy sucked just as much as Trump's (so far), so what's gonna be your hacky argument in response? "But but... Trump said the economy is strong", based on WHAT? The Stock Market? It's fucking tanking dude, that was the one only good thing about Obama and Trump's presidencies and now it's finally heading towards another Recession again. That means unemployment will spike again and no one can give the excuse anymore "the economy is strong", because it never was and wages haven't gone up since the 1980s to boot.

@vilecrocodile9171 Exactly. The middle class is shrinking. Over 51% of workers make 30,000 a year or less. That's barely enough to live off of to begin with especially with an overblown housing market. I know people who have been on the list in line for affordable housing for years just so they can pay have a budget where they're not constantly going into debt every month. For a country where the Dow Jones and S&P 500 nearly doubled in value since 2008 (right before the last Recession), we're somehow in a place where things have gotten far WORSE for poor and middle class Americans. People are working their asses off with 2-3 jobs just to get by. This is the reality dude. I'm sure you know some people who are struggling as well even if you personally are not. If/when we hit another Recession, things are going to have to change or another Obama/Trump recovery of the economy will only make things even worse. Maybe next time it will be 70% of the country that can't afford a surprise $300 emergency expense. Things have just gotten worse and worse and it's not some partisan issue to understand just how bad Americans are struggling in what's supposed to be the richest country in the world. The system is rigged against the working class, both Democrats and Republicans need to get this through their heads so we can start voting in politicians who will actually fix it.
