I agree. The only way you could make the organization better, in my opinion, would be to somehow set up a binding contract with the candidates claiming that if the candidates are removed from Justice Democrats due to breaking their policy on taking corporate PAC money or corruption, they're then legally obligated to resign from their seats in Congress. Once Justice Democrats is a more powerful organization with huge political backing, I think they could successfully create this standard for punishing politicians who don't uphold the anti-corruption platform. We haven't seen candidates/politicians kicked out of and lose support from the organization yet, but I imagine we will eventually see a scenario where this is the case at some point in the future.

I'm more than happy to discuss why you're just wrong on several things, but the fact that you claim things like "rather burn it all down than vote for the lesser evil" and a confession of "yes, it will suck for awhile" makes me think we have fundamental disagreements with the way society should function rather than a slight disagreement on the facts, though your wrong on those too in why Jimmy taking Cortez's 9 second CNN clip out-of-context and his attacks on Bernie Sanders are mostly misleading and some are flat out lies. Though, the fact that you think it's 'better' to let the greater evil govern so MAYBE we have a better chance at electing politicians that are completely devoid of "evil" seems like idealistic nonsense. The question of how much "evil" these politicians carry will always be a factor (I use the term "evil" lightly because Jimmy Dore and his audience have made it that way), and the difference in evil between a partly/mostly progressive candidate vs a straight pro-corporate pro-interventionist Republican is Gigantic and literally the difference between life and death for poor working class Americans without healthcare and especially for civilians and children in Yemen and the numerous countries we're bombing. If there was ever an election between someone like Joe Arpaio vs Ro Khanna, I have little doubt that the Jimmy Dore crowd would just apply the same flawed logic that "they're both the same and both equally corrupt" just because last year Ro Khanna co-endorsed Ocasio-Cortez and Joe Crowley for reasons with passing legislation. We know this would likely be the case because they're basically already saying the same bullshit about Andrew Gillum vs Ron DeSantis even though Gillum is still 1 million times better than DeSantis even if he idiotically lets Hillary campaign for him. Even if you had the Green Party in power right now, this type of thought-process would still be a factor that caused you idealistic fools to not support any of them because they made one slight wrong move in their career that leads you to write them off as "sellouts". This way of thinking just leads to a dead-end and not towards real progress. Real progress is something we're currently seeing from Justice Democrats and you can whine about how "it's not fast enough" all you want, but I would love to see how many Greens get elected to Congress this election cycle. I hope they do, but it's just not the reality we live in.

She clearly doesn't think 'any blue will do' otherwise she wouldn't have worked her ass off and given Nixon her volunteers to elect the less popular politician with a far more progressive platform. The other day, he literally said he knows a new party wouldn't beat the Democratic Party but his plan was to "get leverage on the Democratic Party to force them to institute change". That idea sounds WAYYYYY more incremental and flimsy than actually having Bernie win the primary himself and not relying on the corporate Democrats for anything, because we'll have forced them out of office ourselves.

There's a reason Cory Booker isn't a Justice Democrat after 2018 just because he stopped taking corporate PAC money. First of all, he likely doesn't plan on keeping that promise after the 2016 election, so he wouldn't be considered for Justice Democrats for that fact alone, but his platform and voting history is completely off scale for what Justice Democrats expect from their candidates and politicians. The whole point of Justice Democrats is to fight corruption through transparency, when you're only mentioning the corporate PAC money, you're ignoring the other factors that Justice Democrats monitors. There are no JD candidates that have lavish dinner parties where it's $10,000 a plate, otherwise they would be ousted from the organization in a public way and lose all progressive support.

Kyle left JD on his own because he didn't like how they buckled under the pressure to kick Cenk out. He explained how it was the right-wing internet who did a hit-job on Cenk with old blog posts back when he was a conservative (irony) and JD's central management caved into this even though they did exactly what right-wingers wanted and barely anyone on the left agreed with it.

+Kevin Tran - Jimmy Dore isn't a 'traitor', he's just an idiot and has no idea what he's doing or any concept of how to win. Kyle is the person everyone should be listening to when it comes to strategy. He proves time and time again he knows how politicians can actually win and what progressives can do to change the country, which is why nearly all his viewers know he would win a position in the Senate or Congress in a landslide if he actually ran.

He attacks him in numerous dishonest ways while he doesn't even say one peep about Bernie's success over Jeff Bezos and raising Amazon's minimum wage (or talking about his other successes like with Jet Blue's union). I've been saying this since 2016. I WISH the Republicans would have an anti-establishment movement in their own party that doesn't just involve platitudes like "Drain the Swamp" that, in reality, just means 'get rid of Democrats' while their own party is packed to the brim with swamp monsters. If the Republicans really care about Draining the Swamp, they should be pushing their politicians to stop taking Corporate PAC money, however, the hypocrisy with them is strong and they will never disarm their 'Team' in the slightest or make them do anything that will make them weaker compared to the Democrats. Progressive anti-corruption strategy may hurt the Democratic Party in the short-run, but it is overall healthy in the long run and ensures it will come out on top as a labor party for the people, whereas the Republican party will die due to the voters own stubbornness to actually do anything to fight corruption. Trump, the Tea Party, all fake populism and no different than the neocons. The younger generations are more politically aware and will not tolerate this bullshit in the future, the Republican Party is doomed whether they realize it yet or not, the only thing that can realistically save them is if they start pushing against corruption in their own party.

Yes anyone who disagrees with Dore's smears against Bernie and Ocasio-Cortez are "Hillary voting neoliberals". Would like to just point out I think Dore is disingenuous as fuck when he goes after Bernie, Ocasio-Cortez and his conclusions on Justice Democrats and I voted for Jill Stein in 2016 and do not watch Pakman or Seder.

Kyle also reported on Gillum's shitty decisions, but did not use it to claim the progressive cause is useless and give a cynical "we're all fucked".
