  2. I think he's trying to mirror what Bernie Sanders is doing with DOGE & cutting pentagon spending, but on like a grander 'all-cylinders' level. IF he *does have a strategy, I'm pretty sure it's to gain MAGA's trust now, and then when Trump starts making elitist moves (because we know he will), he'll be the first (and possibly only) "right-winger" or Right-adjacent voice calling Trump's sins against workers & average Americans. I personally don't think it will work, but I'm weirdly not fully against it yet and want to see where it goes. Class consciousness is the most important thing in politics right now, we can only hope Cenk actually has a strategy and isn't just grifting to save the dying TYT brand.

  3.  @romeogray5667  I think it's a political strategy, and yes it is incredibly stupid. Weirdly enough I'm not fully against it yet - I kinda want to see where this goes & if he's able to ignite a bit of class consciousness in right-wingers. Possible he's just planting seeds and gaining their trust - his shift seems far more strategic than anything related to greed like Dave Rubin and Jimmy Dore. It really matters what his intentions are though - is he trying to save the dying TYT brand, because then that's terrible & probably just going to lead to an entire network of Dave Rubins, or is he actually trying to politically outflank MAGA & get them to be more class focused? I really don't know for sure, but it seems strategic, whereas Ana Kasparian actually seems like a Dave Rubin turn entirely focused on her career, money, audience capture & brain broken ideology. Ana has been deteriorating for years now, while Cenk flipped his strategy overnight after the election, making me think he's been in the game a long time, nothings worked, so he's trying something new, which could very easily (and is) blowing up in his face and turning the entire Left against him.

Cenk is embarrassing himself on a massive level, however, I will say that it seems to me that Cenk's rightward shift is strategic & a way of twisting himself into a pretzel to outflank right-wingers, whereas Ana Kasparian's shift is actually a Dave Rubin-esque move to the Right. Even if Cenk wants to continue down with this path, he should still axe Ana for her dog**** politics
