Yang is polling at around 3-4% and isn't even in the debates anymore. It's time to get serious so melting brain creepy Uncle Joe doesn't become the nominee.

But she could be Bernie's VP. Sure it would piss off the overwoke feminists in the party, but they're already up-in-arms over Bernie's alleged "terrible terrible sexism"

They'll be saying that even after he wins Iowa, New Hampshire, California and Nevada. The DNC will stop at nothing to slow down his campaign.

Louis Frost Even if you vote Trump in the general, you should still help out Bernie in the primary. According to 3rd Way, Bernie is "an existential threat to the Democratic establishment". He threatens the power of people like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein and all the rest. It's why the DNC hates him.
2
Exactly. Bernie's grassroots candidacy is the embodiment of telling the Democratic establishment that "the jig is up". They'll no longer be able to fundraise the old fashioned way through corrupt deal making and big money bundlers. This is the case for no matter if he defeats Donald Trump or not. He is an existential threat to the Democratic elite.

Her dumbass "sexism" stunt reminds me of when Beto O'Rourke, a Texas Congressman, said "Damn right, we're gonna take your guns". They're both so stupid. Beto's probably never gonna win another race in Texas ever again (at least not state-wide). It'll be interesting to see if Warren gets primaried after this.

@aurora3067 Calling it now that if he doesn't "win" the nomination, it will be because of sleazy backroom deals by the DNC in the convention.

The DNC has to know by now that Bernie is the strongest candidate (polling high enough to get the nomination) to go against Trump at this point. Joe Biden's brain is melting and there is 0 enthusiasm behind him. The DNC likely knows this, yet they would still rather lose to Trump with Biden than have a good shot at winning with Bernie. As Joe said, a Bernie & Tulsi ticket would have the best shot a going up against Trump, but the DNC will do everything in their power to inhibit that from happening.

DJexs Most of his policies are just things that would catch us up to the rest of the developed world and European countries. Universal healthcare and universal K-16 education. It's not the radical vision the media claims it to be. In terms of the Green New Deal, you can claim that to be radical/bold, but it would still partially just catch us up to European countries in terms of high-speed trains and more green energy sources. (There are European countries that are entirely renewable already)

@BoulderPM The Presidency has a fuckton of power behind it. It also likely has more power now than it did when you were 12 considering the military authorization bill in Iraq.
1
Good. Fuck Warren and Joe Biden. Nobody wants to have a 2 hour conversation with them. It would just be fake as fuck, whereas Bernie, Tulsi and Yang are actually real people, whether you disagree with them on policy or not.
1
@ilan6076 Chances are that if he doesn't get the nomination, it will be because of sleazy DNC deals during the convention. If Bernie isn't nominated, the Dems will lose to Trump FOR SURE.
1
It's not even just because of that. They also simply fear him becoming the face of the party (whether he wins or not). It will essentially be a sign that the 'jig is up' for the corporate Democrats. Bernie uses 100% grassroots fundraising to win elections and it's proven now to be MORE effective than the legalized bribery from corporations and Super PACs. The Dems know that if Bernie wins the nomination, slimeballs like Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein, and others will no longer be able to head the party simply because they raise the most corrupt money. Those people have NO idea how to run grassroots campaigns from small dollar donors.

I'm not a Williamson fan in the slightest, but it definitely would've been the case where Joe would've liked her in person a lot more than his current surface level opinion of her now. The media has done a really good job at painting her like a loon, specifically because she had some really dumb moments at the debates. A lot of that is her own fault, but she's definitely not as ridiculous in a long conversation than people think.

@williamsmith8790 He was a carpenter before he became Mayor, Congressman and a Senator. Is carpentry no longer a profession?
1
Both parties are the same. They both accept legalized bribery for political expediency and to hold onto power.

Joe is right when he says Bernie and Tulsi coming together around 1 ticket would be the best chance at countering Donald Trump.
