  1. If you actually look at scientists historically. The scientists who have been "lying" were the ones paid to do faux research by the coal and fossil fuel industry and even farther back around the time of the Catholic Church imprisoning Galileo so he would denounce that the Sun is the center of the solar system. I mean, the fossil fuel and coal lobbyists had Americans believing that lead was good for humans and they used to advertise children playing with "safe lead". They then later realized it was driving warehouse workers absolutely insane and they were fucking jumping out of windows. I trust the 97% of credited scientists over the other small percent who are likely paid by corporate interests to do faux science.

  3. I all comes down to logic in the end. Make the distinction for yourself, but the fact of the matter is that 97% is much much larger of a number than 3.

  4. +Instinctive Adventures - It's not just what "scientists are saying". If you care enough you can look at the data and statistics yourself. If you actually take the time to just understand these charts https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Features/GlobalWarming/page3.php?src=share your logic will kick in at some point and you'll understand just how fucked humans are if we don't do something drastic and change our behavior in the near future. The temperature of the Earth is just going to keep rising and I'd love to see what climate deniers are saying 20-30 years from now when entire islands are underwater and Florida's coastline shrinks more and more every year.

  5. +EroomYrrah - Dude what... What are you talking about. H2O is a different "state" than CO2. CO2 is a gas and H2O is a liquid. They have different STATES. It's a different molecular form where the molecules are more spread out, which is how CO2 rises. It's weird that this is science that you disagree with or don't understand considering it's about the first thing you learn in chemistry.

See if the rest of the world is wrong and 97% of scientists are wrong about climate change, well no skin off humans' backs since we just end up with electric cars and cleaner air with renewable energy sources, however if YOU'RE wrong? Well, the whole Earth gets fucking destroyed slowly over time. Isn't this the argument that Christians and Catholics make about God? That why don't you just believe in God because it's better to believe in Heaven so you don't end up in Hell if you're wrong. Well this is actually a real world example of that ideology and I think it's ironic its all the Christian fundamentalists who are telling us to ignore the scientists and claiming all the scientists are lying. Ever think it's the other way around where the sleazy Fossil Fuel Industry is sneaking propaganda into right-wing channels to try to amass an opposition against logical scientific hypotheses and decades of research? EDIT: I just read over your post again saying you're not a denier at one point, my mistake. I suppose just imagine the argument I made is focused more towards the deniers than anyone else.
