  1. What she said was so racist that even the Fox News anti-PC police were condemning it as awful, but I think this shows an even bigger picture than that. You can't insult or throw racist remarks at people in the 1%er club or they will almost certainly give you the axe. If Roseanne said an equally bad antisemitic comment to someone like Bernie Sanders or called a black person like Dave Chappelle an ape, no one in the corporate world would've batted an eye. It would've just been disregarded entirely, but Valerie Jarret and Bob Iger are in the same 1% club, so it was like an immediate response as a result of insulting someone in that group. It works in the other direction as well. Kathy Griffin, even though she's never actually been funny in her life, got the axe when she made a joke about Trump that went too far on a photo shoot. Even though Trump says horrendous shit all the time, he's now in that elitist club because he's #45 now and she got the axe for it whereas if she did it to Ted Nugent, no one would've cared and they wouldn't have been able to play it off as a "threat against the President or someone in government or a powerful elite like Valerie Jarret". When are people going to understand it's not a left vs right issue as much as its a 99% vs the 1% issue, and the 1% hold all the cards.
