It is sexist and racist. There is no "but" after that. It's textbook definition of racism and sexism.

@adamschlinker972 No they are refusing to vote for someone purely based on that person's race and sex with the looming distinction that both a woman and a non-white individual is superior to a white or male individual. Like I said it's textbook racism and sexism.

It's unfortunate that no one (not even in the comment section) noted about how this tweet by Amy Siskind is just a part of their tactics of weaponizing identity politics to ensure that Bernie Sanders, the old white male front-runner for the upcoming 2020 Democratic primary, doesn't win, especially since many of these same Hillary/establishment types are championing someone like Kamala Harris who just "coincidentally" happens to be a woman of color. I would be extremely shocked if this was not at the front of Amy Siskind's mind when she wrote that tweet.

David Pakman is also arguably "liberal" (although I would call him more of a progressive or populist left), and he is the one who called out Amy Siskind to begin with. I wouldn't say this is a liberal vs conservative argument. It's more authoritarian vs social libertarian and if anyone has ever seen a political compass, they can tell you both conservative and liberal types are guilty of being authoritarian and both can be libertarian. It's also fair to point out that many people (on the left) that weaponize identity politics are doing so to protect the status quo. It is a known tactic of Hillary supporters, the mainstream media, and blue dog Democrats, while the Bernie-wing of the left is often the victim of such nonsense because their politics and policies are too strong among Democrats and Independents to face directly, so these establishment Democrats often have to revert to weaponized identity politics. If you're not on the left, this may not be obvious to you, yet this is what progressives and the populist left deal with on a regular basis and what they will be dealing with endlessly in the 2020 election.
