The Native American heritage deception is one thing, but it's even worse when you find out that she wrote a Native American cookbook called "Pow Wow Chow", BUT what's even worse is how the book was subtitled "a collection of recipes from Five Civilized Tribes". It plays into the old racism of some of the tribes being called "savages" and 'only a handful of the tribes were civilized' because they knew how to work with the foreign white slavers driving them off their lands.
