  1. I'm split on this. I think you make some good points David, but impeachment is just not going to happen, no Republicans will vote for it and you need a 2/3rds majority in the Senate. And I think you're wrong about the media. They are currently talking about Medicare for All. They're obviously smearing it nonstop, but it's at least coverage nonetheless and bad coverage is better than no coverage at all. You're right that some of the points people are making against impeachment aren't set in stone such as it energizing Trump's base, but we do know for certain impeachment will not go through so why take the chance that it COULD rile up Trump's base and make it less likely that someone defeats Trump in the general.
