Krystal Ball called out Tulsi initially when she tweeted about the Project Veritas bullshit. Her & Kyle Kulinski are definitely NOT in Tulsi's corner & haven't defended her for a very long time, maybe ever since she endorsed Joe Biden in the Dem Primary. Jimmy Dore, on the other hand, is a different story.

Agreed, she is just a divisive figure on the Left. We would've been more unified in the Dem Primary if not for her & when she dropped out she ended up banding with the neoliberals anyways & endorsed Biden.

@gum8191 Tulsi Gabbard should apologize for banning free speech regarding BDS. We can play that game all day, but nice deflection though.

@gum8191 A BDS bill that was violating the 1st Amendment & free speech, something that several states have already done. My point was that you were deflecting, but again, we can play this bullshit game all day. AOC wasn't the one tweeting Project Veritas videos even if she's done disappointing things in the past herself, it's irrelevant to the conversation bud.

crooko dile People can run for office all they want, but Tulsi was false advertising herself by claiming to be for most of the same policies as Bernie but then ultimately siding with neoliberals. Same thing I think Warren did by not endorsing Bernie or not dropping out before Super Tuesday to help the front runner on the Left who was for things like a wealth tax, Medicare for All, & all the things Warren claimed to be for. It annoys me that the Left cannot band together at all while the neoliberals are able to do it in perfect synchronization the night before Super Tuesday & basically steal the election at the last second. It's why they keep winning & will continue to win, & it's why Biden had an easy time ending the primary after Super Tuesday, while in 2016, Hillary Clinton almost lost if not for her mass fuckery. Now we have a nominee who wants to continue all the wars, has said a solid NO to Universal Healthcare, & is basically a 1990s Republican because the Left couldn't band together. If politicians running for president aren't going to commit to the policy struggles they champion when they drop out or have no path to victory left then I hope they don't run at all - at best they're just careerists, at worst they're complete charlatans.

I've heard this argument many times now & I'm confused how the CARES act is some big 'gotcha' when it's literally the only relief aid the people of America have received AT ALL. People can support a bill for different reasons, it doesn't mean they wrote it & it definitely doesn't mean they approve of the bill in terms of big business. It very likely just means they think the necessity for relief outweighs the giveaway to big business. If that is the only way Americans will receive any type of aid whatsoever (considering the alternative is a GOP "skinny bill" without the stimulus check or unemployment benefits), then we should be doing another one Right Now so Americans at least have some type of relief. I wish our political system wasn't owned by corporations, but it is - work with what you have to help the American people in this terrible time. Not sure why that concept is so hard to grasp for some people, but maybe it's because I'm the only one seeing friends & family in economic trouble & understand the dire need for economic relief. I mean, you can disagree with that logic, but just acknowledge that some progressives will vote for a stimulus bill because they think the people NEED relief & not 10 to 20 months from now when we maybe possibly get one without as big of a bailout for corporations.
