For veterans aware of the nonstop bullshit involved in Wash. politics, it's gotta be frustrating to see most politicians using 'support for the troops' just as flack while never doing a damn thing to help the individuals whilst giving an annual blank check to the Pentagon to continue putting them in regions where they're shot, killed, or poisoned. It seems to me that this specific issue is just the last straw, but still only just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how badly veterans and troops are treated by the gov't.
