Medicare for All would be far more like Medicare (considering Medicare for All is just an expansion of Medicare), than it would the VA, which oddly enough STILL polls far better than our current healthcare system, so it seems the American people agree no matter what that anything is better than our current for-profit healthcare system that just price gouges Americans and throws people into bankruptcy, if they're lucky enough to get treatment at all assuming the healthcare companies don't completely fuck you over at the last second when you get sick or get cancer. "I do not trust the government with my family's healthcare". Then what, you trust the for-profit health insurance companies with your family's healthcare? Who have proven time and time again to be nothing but a scam and constantly fuck people over even when they HAVE healthcare. You're not thinking dude. Stop looking at it as a partisan issue, the for-profit health insurance companies have to die and it's been proven that doing so would SAVE Americans thousands of dollars by removing all premiums and prescription drug prices which get worse every year.

Show me 1 country that switched to a Single Payer system and then went back to for-profit health insurance markets because "the government couldn't handle it" or whatever your point is. I've met people in other countries and they think we're fucking insane for having a system that can bankrupt someone for being sick, and especially in cases where someone can't get help because they don't have a big enough wallet.

If you're in the 1% your taxes will most definitely go up as a net increase, but that's primarily because wealth inequality is ridiculously bad right now where CEOs make more than 300 times that of their average workers' salaries. If you're in the middle class or lower class, you will have a Net DECREASE in your taxes/expenses overall. You remove all medical bills and premiums when you adopt a Medicare for All system. I don't think you realize how many people get screwed with their health insurance in this market and especially the one before the Affordable Care Act that Republicans want to regress us back to. It's already been proven by a right-wing study by the Koch Brothers (who were trying to smear Medicare for All, but ended up proving it's point) that it saves the American workers an average of 2 Trillion over the next ten years compared to our current system. That's a $2 Trillion DECREASE in taxes and expenses for the American workers, do you understand that? Also, making public colleges tuition free barely costs anything. The amount that Congress just increased the US military budget by this year alone was more than enough to pay for bettering our education system and making public colleges tuition free, which is only about $47 billion per year. Why don't you ask how we're going to pay for the increase in budget they just did on the military, which was twice that and didn't help American workers or children even in the slightest? Did they raise taxes on us for that? No, they're just blowing up the deficit, something you seem to be completely ignoring and focusing on a bill that gives everyone healthcare. They literally just spent $2 Trillion on a tax bill that doesn't work and now we're seeing the markets head towards a Recession. 93,000 jobs were outsourced in Trump's first year in office and it's impossible to ignore now with the events that just happened with GM. If those plants were "making vehicles that weren't selling", then why did GM just open up a plant in Mexico that manufactures the Blazer? Your points are hallow as fuck dude. I doubt you'll admit anything when we're neck deep in the Recession either as your in denial right now as well.

  4. Name one bill she supports that "taxes hard working Americans"? Medicare for All saves the working class Americans thousands of dollars individually by removing their premiums and medical bills. She is not for regressive taxes on the working class, that is total BS. I believe it was Trump and the GOP who passed a tax bill that raises taxes on the poor and middle class a few years from now and even has raised taxes on a few people in the middle class now especially ones looking to buy a house due to many of those subsidies being removed in their tax plan. Not to mention their plan gave incentives for outsourcing jobs, which is why we literally just saw GM close down 5 different factories and outsourced a total of 15,000 jobs.

Giving Pelosi the vote was the best possible outcome given the circumstances especially since there was literally no other choice to the Left of Pelosi, you would know that if you actually deduced the events with logic. Nobody likes Pelosi, but solely blaming Ocasio-Cortez for that when she had few options and just tried to do what was best for the progressive agenda, is completely misguided on your part and willfully ignorant if you actually understood the Machiavellian politics being played.
