You'd think this is obvious stuff that doesn't even need to be said, but there are still people out there that don't understand that fundamental difference. If you accept money and push a pro-corporate agenda in return like tax cuts for the rich, then you are a sell out. Accepting an investment, but not giving anything in return or return of investment does not make you a sell out because you're not selling anything for that money. This is the trick Ben Shapiro plays by flipping the issue on its head and distracting from his own pro-corporate corruption.
