  1. Yeah, he had the perfect mental mouse trap here for Jordan Peterson. I feel like situations like this should happen far more often nowadays considering most right-wing issues like this are devoid of logic or have massive flaws in logic, but the current administration is masterful at deflecting blame and giving bullshit runaround answers that we don't even get real conversations or genuine back-and-forth between the right and left to even have the opportunity to steel trap their logic like this. Especially in the case of Jordan Peterson, who actually admitted being wrong, which you won't see in another million years from someone with right-wing philosophy.

  2. +King Draco - No it's only a "false equivalency" to Christian fundamentalists who think that gay people are 'unnatural' even though Jesus preached for his followers to love everyone. Even the Catholic church recently came out and said to a gay man that "That is the way God made you". The only way you can even make your argument is if you somehow believe that Christians, Muslims, Catholics, etc. deserve more rights than say someone who was born with a disability, born with a different skin color, or someone who has been gay their entire life, which is almost always an unintentional life choice just as being born a different ethnicity. Even though I'm not personally religious (or gay), I still believe people should have religious rights, but trying to make it seem like Christianity outweighs the rights of someone who has been a lifelong homosexual is just wrong and as far as I can tell, it's primarily Christian fundamentalists who will make that argument.

  3. I actually agree with you. It would be kind of silly if this case was about a baker refusing to make a wedding cake for a pair of Scientologists. Christian Fundamentalists likely see homosexuals as not being born with their behavior though, so at least for now, it's probably better to just lump religion in there with all the rest so they don't make that case.
