@TheGabrielarcari Or Independent voters that just switched over to Democrat so they can vote for Bernie in a closed primary (like me).

@loganladue2 That's why we can't let the primary go to the second round of voting. We need to knock it out of the park in the first contest so the DNC can do nothing to stop the will of the voters.

@loganladue2 Of course. The entire state of West Virginia is an example of that. The stats still show that he wouldn't have won even without superdelegates and despite the counties where they clearly did cheat. Bernie just didn't have as much public recognition back then until most of the voting was already over (though the DNC & media's part in the rigging might've been the reason he received less votes in the first place). My broader point is that, this time, he DOES have that recognition, and he's already doing far better in the polling than in 2016 relative to his opponent. Also, based on the way he's been running his campaign, I'd say it's likely he overperforms in the polls even MORE this time as well considering his enhanced outreach to disaffected voters. We're already in a better position to win this primary than we were in 2016 and Biden hasn't even lost Iowa and New Hampshire yet. I'm not sure what all dirty trick are going to be played by the DNC this time around, but I will say we're in a much stronger position to counter whatever they do pull or throw at us (also superdelegates are much less powerful than they were in 2016).

Its Called Trolling It's 4k "likely voters", not the same as who will actually show up to the polls, as evident from last primary when Bernie overperformed in nearly every single state.

schwadaddy81 Actually Bernie still fell short in the primary votes (people were still getting to know him in 2015). He overperformed the polls and had a lot of upset victories over Clinton, but even if superdelegates didn't have their thumbs on the scale, pretty certain Clinton still would've won, which is why it was so stupid for her to try to rig the primary because it inevitably suppressed the vote in the general and she lost the election for the Dems just so she could become the nominee herself.
