Lay's is one of the many American companies pumping more addictive ingredients and additives in their processed food to make people both more addicted to their food and also more obese in the process (generally hurting people's health). You can taste it anytime you eat a bag of Lay's in the US (as other countries have restricted what they do to us).

  2. @ Yeah, it's not "chemicals" like some cranks would have you think - it's just ungodly amounts of already addictive ingredients processed potato chips are made from. It's the same thing with fast food, sodas, etc - more fat, more sugar, and yes in some foods you could call something like high fructose corn syrup "chemicals" - this one particularly is very addicting and not natural. A lot of the people who used to work in the cigarette industry have now moved over into the food industry to lobby for deregulation of our foods so the companies can keep making them more addictive, more unhealthy and keep churning out record profits year after year.
