Comments by "" (@thehumanity0) on "Elon Musk denies allegations of sexual misconduct against him" video.
"He called this" - he was literally asked for comment on the story and then right afterwards said he's now voting Republican. Almost like he wants to needlessly make it all political to get out of it. A week before, Musk said he wanted to equally upset the far right and far left by keeping Twitter unbiased and then 6 days later he goes full Republican, funny how that happened.

How do the "powers that be" not include the literal richest man in the world? This is some serious brainrot.

@ToreDL87 "he said he was switching from left to right" - Literally only a week before this scandal happened, Musk wrote on twitter: "For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally"

"Anyone operating with more cognitive capacity then a three year old" - someone like that would surely consider all the facts then and how Musk was asked for comment on the story the morning before he tweeted he's now a Republican. Also, hard to claim this is part of some "inquisition" when the woman was paid a quarter of a million in hush money and forced out of SpaceX after the incident in question. The facts don't work in Musk's favor whatsoever, which is why he needlessly made the whole thing political and tied it directly to the Republican Party. He isn't stupid and knows what he's doing and how to manipulate people to get out of a sexual misconduct scandal.

NDAs are common unless they're packaged with a quarter of a Million $$ in hush money.
1
@Mark Tse A quarter of a Million $$ for a flight attendant who was essentially fired is quite a thing
1
The woman hasn't even revealed her identity due to the hush money and NDA agreement, so that doesn't even make any sense.

Seems people actually use their brain on Twitter and follow the facts

Musk doesn't own Twitter and he Conveniently paused the deal and began trying to back out of it as this news was coming out, not to mention he was asked for comment on the story beforehand and Musk told them he needed more time to comment and then immediately released a tweet saying he's now a Republican.
1
Why did he claim he's now a Republican right after he was asked for comment on the story? We already know that was first in the timeline.

@sunnex474 Yes, it was bundled with her severance package after her hours were cut and forced out of the company allegedly because the company and Musk were worried keeping her on was too dangerous.

Elon Musk's actions on the matter speak louder than anything. He gets asked for comment and then randomly claims he's now a Republican only a week after tweeting about how he was going to equally make the far left and far right angry by making Twitter unbiased - that attitude didn't last long. Also, there's the fact that SpaceX paid the woman a quarter of a million $ in silence money after cutting back her hours and then forcing her out of the company simply because she rejected Musk after he flashed his junk. The only part of that that's 'alleged' is when he flashed his junk, but that's not even the worst part when you consider Musk forced her out of the company & paid her $250,000.

@joewest3901 Elon Musk's expressed in the past how he doesn't give in to false charges, so your logic doesn't stand up whatsoever. Also, I doubt many billionaires would give in to false charges like that, considering it just makes them look guilty and there will be a scandal when the news gets out eventually anyways as it did here once it was public that SpaceX forced her out and paid her a quarter Million in hush money.
1
Can't say he's 100% guilty, but the quarter of a Million in hush money after she was forced out of the company, is pretty clear evidence. You don't get your hours cut entirely and then given a massive severance package (for a flight attendant) unless the company is trying to cover something up.

@austinbarnard7688 True, Elon Musk loves manipulating people (and crypto prices). Wonder why he suddenly claimed he's now a Republican and forecasting "dirty tricks" against him only hours after being asked for comment on the sexual misconduct story. Sounds suspicious and manipulative to me.

@dewdropin2010 The interview is not the tweet in question & it's not what @GopackGo was referring to. Right after being asked for comment on the story at 9am on Wednesday, by noon, Musk was tweeting forecasts about "watch political attacks increase against me" and stated how he was now voting Republican and "watch as their dirty tricks unfold" - he wrote all this after knowing the story about the flight attendant and $250,000 hush money was coming out. After knowing the full timeline, it's hard not to see how Musk was needlessly making the story political before it even released and trying to act like he was predicting a story to come out as a possible reaction rather than something he already had full knowledge about. Nobody's saying Musk wasn't already expressing more right-wing opinions, but in a week he went from saying he was "going to make Twitter unbiased" and would "equally anger the far right and far left" to saying he's now voting Republican and "Democrats are the party of hate". That's suspicious on it's own but then factor in how he already knew about the story coming out. I mean, c'mon use your head on this

@dewdropin2010 "The hit piece was put out because of what he said on Monday." We just making wild assumptions now? Musk has been knowingly going right-wing for a long time now, his remarks about the Democrats being a party taken over by unions (also hilarious he thinks that since the Democrats are corporate-owned just like the GOP) is nothing new considering Musk is a well-known union-buster and his casual admission in the interview that he's open to voting Republican is not surprising to anyone whose been following his political comments for the last several years. He may not have suddenly admitted it as a response to the flight attendant article, but he knowingly used it the day before the article came out to directly tie the article to a toxic political issue he likely knows will muddy the waters and let him dodge the allegations by claiming they're purely political and a political attack, even though the flight attendant accusation was in no way proven to be political until Musk made it that way on twitter by saying stuff like "political attacks will increase against me in coming days" and "Watch their dirty tricks unfold" - things he said while fully knowing what was coming out even though he was acting like it was a forecast.

It likely got brought to light because there's been so much attention on him lately due to his own actions. The timing is not the important part of that conversation. Employer sexual misconduct/assault is a real problem, it's not some bogus wishy washy MeToo thing - think back to the Harvey Weinstein stuff and you'll realize why it's a more serious issue.
