@Lord Dingus I would say he has more of a relationship with Gabbard, since she is a part of the Sanders institute. It's pretty likely that Warren is running to win, while Bernie and Gabbard have some sort of understanding between the two considering Tulsi attended a Sander's institute meeting before she announced her candidacy. I could be wrong and maybe it's the other way around, but Warren has been pretty adversarial towards Bernie, taking pot shots at him recently, so I don't think so.

I never really thought about it until recently, but I sort of realized lately candidates' history and consistency have subconsciously been a pretty big issue for me personally. Far more than I thought it was previously. I only really noticed it once Mike Gravel jumped in the race and he somehow appealed to me really quickly (which is something only Bernie had been able to do in the past), and I think it just has to do with how him and Bernie both have a long history and progressive record. They've been right on the issues for longer than literally everyone in the race and maybe even everyone in politics, and you can legitimately just go on Google or Youtube and look up videos of them 15 to 30 years ago (even further back for Bernie) taking action and arguing for the right policies just completely ahead of their time. This issue is probably amplified by the fact that there are just so many fake progressives and untrustworthy candidates in the primary this election. With Bernie and Gravel, who have been fighting the fight for decades, you know you can trust them because the proof is undeniable.

The fact that you think Howard Schitz is "the best" just means nobody should listen to a word you say. That guy is fucking clown shoes.

Why are we even debating this? First of all it's far too early to "pick" your final choice and if we were going by everything right now, then it would undeniably be the most logical strategy to pick Bernie who is a close second to Handsy Uncle Joe while the other 2 are polling at 1% or below. I mean C'mon people, this is a FAKE Debate.

Exactly, Bernie has been gearing up for this win ever since 2016 and has been touting his platform for literal decades. Ditching him when we're SO CLOSE to winning the presidency is just blasphemy and honestly just a dumb strategy. I don't know what these other progressives are thinking. If we were to switch to championing one of the candidates that is polling at 1% and has little name recognition, we would absolutely just be setting ourselves up for another loss like Bernie had in 2016 where he was just battling to get his name out there the entire time and then came up short against a neoliberal with massive name recognition. Bernie is the ONLY way. How are people not getting this?

@user-ho5lk1ul2l Absolute bullshit

Yang supports a public option, he does not even support Bernie's number 1 issue on healthcare. Not to mention his UBI version will not address income inequality and the current issues with Capitalism.

@myklfan9738 They are not the same on every issue, are you serious? Tulsi is not in favor of getting rid of private insurance companies in our healthcare system and she refused to support the Green New Deal being introduced in the House/Senate. They ARE the same on foreign policy even though people give Tulsi more credit for her rhetoric. Tulsi is far weaker than Bernie on domestic politics though, and I'm talking about the policy, not their campaign rhetoric (but also that).

@myklfan9738 Also, Bernie doesn't have to "condemn torture" because he's been opposing it for 40 years in politics and never made a statement claiming he would use it "if made president" like Tulsi.

Richard Wolff has explained in depth why Yang's version of UBI is problematic. I advise you watch it just to get another perspective. Wolff is a brilliant professor.
