  1. This is the saddest thing I've ever seen. I actually got a check from the CFPB years back when I used to have a checking acct with Bank of America. Turns out they were doing some fraudulent stuff and I had no idea. It wasn't life changing or anything but turns out they were purposefully overcharging me for overdraft fees

They bring up Kanye West like he's just some normal guy with slightly racist views who got kicked out of his multi-million dollar accounts & trust funds. Either way, CFPB exists to protect against corporate fraudulent activity, focusing on some alleged anecdote about de-banking from this billionaire CEO is just lying by omission

  11.  @Daoist369  I don't know what stuff you've heard, but I can tell you from personal anecdote that a few years back I randomly got a check in the mail for a couple hundred dollars, apparently when I used to use Bank of America, they were overcharging me for fees and I didn't even realize. Turns out the CFPB went after Bank of America and Wells Fargo for fraudulently tacking on bs fees they knew did nothing. That's the kinda agency this guy is saying is evil, probably because they inhibit him and his billionaire buddies from doing whatever they want on Wall Street
