It's so ridiculous when Lavrov talks about the UN Charter and the sovereignty of other UN countries. Since 2014, the Russian Federation has violated UN international law and the international UN treaties of 1991, 1994 and 1997 by invading and annexing territories of Ukraine. That Lavrov, the sovereign country of Ukraine as "our Ukraine" called, clearly proves who the aggressor is and what his goal is, and it also makes it clear that he is not interested in peace and does not respect the borders of other UN states!! In 3 UN resolutions, 141 UN states have called on the Russian Federation to stop aggression against the sovereign country of Ukraine and to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and to withdraw the army immediately since the Russian Federation has attacked Ukraine. Why doesn't he talk about who's undermining what, because nobody's undermining what!!! Nobody will believe Lavrov's will for peace if everyone in Russia who is opposed to the war is imprisoned. This is purely propaganda for his Russian people.

The application for a special tribunal against the aggressor Russian Federation will maybe very soon be submitted in a UN session and will be reached with a two-thirds majority of the UN states. 1991 UN Treaty between Ukraine and Russian Federation on the Recognition of Sovereignty, please refer to Russian Constitutional Law Article 15.4. Anyone who calls another UN state "ours" is a thief and the agressor. Ukraine belongs to the citizens of Ukraine and nobody else. Only Russia claims the territory of Ukraine, nobody else. Who attacked the Russian Federation that you are planning this terrorist attack against peaceful people? Russians of the Russian Federation are killing Ukrainians and Russians in Ukraine, and they are dying themselves. Lavrov calls Ukraine "our Ukraine" and previously spoke of the UN Charter. But he does not respect UN international law and its UN treaties. Crazy is when someone wants to destroy the whole planet just to own foreign territory. So crazy, I don't think your neighbour's are still alive. I don't know if you can still helped, I'm just trying once. Stalin dead, Bandera dead, Hitler dead, but Putin brought Hitler's ideology to life to conquer another UN state's territory and expand his empire of a Russian race. The propaganda has educated the Russian people to already call Ukraine their country and to fight the Ukrainians for it. This is totally crazy when you consider how many Russian people suffer from poor infrastructure outside of the big cities in Russia. With their war they bring great suffering, destruction and death to a foreign country, to foreign people although the could need the war money for better live. Zelensky is the President of the sovereign UN country and its citizens, Ukraine, which was under attack. For example: Your present of life is your present and your rightfully acquired property is yours, I do not claim it because there are people in your house who speak my language. People are looking for other habitable planets, why if we don't manage to comply with the rules (UN international law) for peaceful coexistence of all peoples on earth to preserve this planet. Would I defend my home and family? Yes, and I would ask others to help me. It's my life and my house. It's crazy, how strange someone can argue just to kill other people and steal their property.

Why didn't you get in touch when the Iraq war and the Yugoslav war was on, Russia supported the Serbia in the civil war. Why didn't you help Iraqis and Croats or Albanians why did you bomb Chechnya twice? Justification for war is war? Are you crazy? With this attitude you can kill your neighbor, a woman, a man or a child anywhere in the world. You could kill anyone. There was someone who did this before you. @irinam.87 Your information is wrong, I have no idea where you get this. Crimea and Donbass is all territory of Ukraine!! There was no civil war in 2013. You has to go back to 1991 and to the UN treaties between Ukraine and Russia: 1991, recognition of Ukraine's independence. 1994, the return of ICBMs to Russia, in return Ukraine received security guarantees from Russia. 1997, trilateral agreement (Ukraine, Russia, USA) on the independent decision to join NATO. Maidan 2013 was a citizens' protest against the government's refusal to sign the planned Association Agreement with the EU in November 2013. The protest was violently suppressed by the pro-Russian government. The internal affairs of Ukraine (a sovereign state!!) are not those of the Russian Federation!!! No country in the EU was involved in the protests.

@irinam.87 Point 2: The cause of the war and its effects are non-compliance with international law and international UN treaties: The unlawful invasion by Russian forces in 2014 and subsequent annexation of Crimea was and remains a violation of international law and its international treaties. This also led to the occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts by Russian separatists in 2014. Since then, the Russian Federation has violated international law and its UN treaties, although these are also enshrined in Article 15-4 of the Russian Constitutional Law.

@irinam.87 Citizens of Ukraine protested against the government's sudden refusal to sign the planned association agreement with the EU. EU politicians were not involved in any putsch. An arrest warrant was issued against Yanukovych at the time, and he was held responsible for the unrest. If you are a citizen of the Russian Federation, then the internal affairs of Ukraine are none of your business or that of Putin. There is no justification for the invasion and annexation of Crimea. Ask Ukrainians why they fight for their country. Stop propaganda.
