  1. Why aren't there more demonstrators yet? Did Americans see how hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians protested on the Maidan in 2013 for freedom and democracy, against the dictates of Russia? In 2022, Ukrainians protested in Melitopol against the Russian armed occupiers for freedom and self-determination. They faced Putin's soldiers and tanks and the Russian soldiers shot at the unarmed civilians.
