Why can't people of Russia commemorate the more than 8,000 civilians in Ukraine who have died in the Russian attack since 02/24/2022? Why is that a provocation, after all, many Russians also have relatives in Ukraine.

New memorials are needed against Russian fascism, which has unleashed a war against another sovereign country and its people. This rendered the other monuments obsolete. No one in Russia can ever again celebrate liberation from German fascism, but only live in constant memory of Russian fascism and its crimes against the Ukrainian people. Hitler and Putin did not liberate anyone, just followed their fascist ideology for one race great empire.

@Sever-ld How does this explain why Russia attacked a sovereign state when this two countries have valid UN treaties from 1991, 1994 and 1997, which Russia is now unilaterally violating? Putin wants to restore the USSR for a big Russian empire and therefore is propaganda in Russia.
