  2.  @joshquarry  When Car & Driver compared the RAV4 V6 to its largely 4 cylinder competition, they found only one model beat its highway mpg. Of course, Highway mpg is always determined by velocity. I know I could get respectable mpg while hogging the slow lane. Let's not forget, your V6 had double the tow rating (3,500 lbs) of the 4 cylinder models from the other automakers .🥳

  4. Not only does your fabulous RAV4 have the smoothly powerful V6 engine but like every other 3rd generation RAV4, it also has a sliding second row seat with a 40/20/40 split. As such you can carry skis, 2X4s etc with an ease nearly unattainable in today's Toyota CUV/SUV fleet. If Toyota upgrades the Hybrid powertrain in the next RAV4, it may well be just as quick as yours while delivering an extra 15-20 mpg. 😉

  8. I am a huge fan of the RAV4 V6. At the moment my RAV4 V6 owning neighbors are on vacation and it takes all of my willpower not to steal theirs from the driveway. 😉 On a serious note, I fully expect the next RAV4 Hybrid to get a substantial increase in power. If it does get that boost the power gap between your old V6 and the Hybrid will narrow while the fuel efficiency gap will expand to 15 mpg or more.

  11.  @earthoid  The RAV4 V6 was the most compact vehicle on the market with a decent tow rating. My neighbors tow a pop up camper with theirs every summer.
