  2.  @MichaelNomura-i9n  Some undercoating products are intended for sound deadening purposes but real rustproofing products are made to prevent corrosion/rust. That is why I use the term rustproofing. 👍

  3.  @merrillschaps2325  I live in the road salt capital of Canada which is probably the road salt capital of the world. For 20 years, my car has been rustproofed annually and it remains rust free although it is NEVER washed in the winter. I really don't know if 'regularly washing' it would accomplish the same goal but I do know it would cost more money, use far more precious time and waste a lot of water.
