AMD, We have been waiting for these oil analysis results and look forward to future results as well. π My 126 hp 1ZZ-FE equipped car has a tow rating of 1,500lbs so I am happy to hear your Tundra could handle 2,000 pounds without issues. Keep on truckin! ππ

Did you not notice the wrapper on the gasket? The gasket is lubricated at the factory.

For what it's worth, I think 5,000 mile intervals with off the shelf synthetic oil are perfectly sensible. I did a 1000 km (620 mile) break-in oil change when my 1.8 liter 1ZZ-FE engine was new. Then I followed the owners manual severe service interval for the remainder of the 5 year warranty period. During those 5 years I let the dealer use OEM filters and I supplied the Amsoil Signature Series oil. With a Severe Service rating of 15,000 miles or one year for non-turbocharged engines, I am in my 15th year of once-a-year oil changes with Amsoil Signature Series oil and their long-life filters. The engine is as good as new. Please take especially good care of that V6 RAV4, it is a future classic.
