  15. It sounds like you are taking diligent care of your car. I suspect the service advisors are pressured by upper management to rip off their clients at every opportunity. I respectfully suggest you send a short letter to Toyota about it and 'cc' a copy to the owner of the dealership. If you have any connections in local media, it might be worth while to include them in the cc.

  18. I am no expert but I have noticed many parts on my Domestic cars wore out with age when the cars had quite low mileage. I bought my Toyota new in 2005 and NOTHING has worn out due to age.

  23. You are being very logical and I agree that a low mileage LS would be much cheaper than repairing one in this state. I expect that when the costs are totaled, AMD will fully and freely acknowledge that this level of restoration makes no economic sense for a private individual to undertake. As a 'Youtuber', he is earning revenue from this LS video series to offset the costs and providing a MASSIVE amount of repair education to viewers.
