  2. Yes. Rust = Neglect. Up here in Ontario I take my car to Krown Rustproofing for an annual treatment. After 18 salty winters it is a solid as the day it left the factory.

  11. One thing you may not realize in Texas is that Salt Belt dwellers have the choice to rustproof their cars to prevent rust from starting in the first place. Rustproofing is basic, preventative maintenance up here just like fluid changes.

On the subject of annual rustproofing products, Krown first 'punched' holes into my new car over 18 years ago. After 18 very salty Ontario winters and 19 annual Krown treatments, my car is as solid as the day it left the Toyota assembly line.
