  9. You are correct, Amsoil is the best and, in his heart, AMD knows it. I can assure you that he knows that my Toyota engine purrs like a kitten in its 13th year of once-a-year Signature Series oil changes. At the same time he realizes most people would balk at the cost of Amsoil so he has developed a sensible compromise to use cheaper oil and filters but change them more often. 😁

  10. The 4.6 V8 in the LS (386 hp) had dual injection, I don't know why they did not install it on the GX version. In regard to Premium fuel tuning, I was recently reminded that the 4.6 in the Tundra and Sequoia was rated at 310 hp with Regular. This makes the 301 hp rating on this version all the more inexplicable.

  12. I live in the Salt Belt. It only becomes the Rust Belt when people refuse or neglect to rustproof their cars. If you don't have a hoist of your own or all the time in the world, I highly recommend Krown Rustproofing. It has kept my Canadian car rust free for over 17 years.

  16. As a Canadian, I would have advised AMD to spray everything on the body not just the frame. I sent him a video of my 17 year old, rust free car which is treated annually by a company called Krown. We will see how his holds up in 17 years using his approach. 😉

  34. My car was built by Toyota in 2005 . Here in Ontario the warranty expired long ago but it remains rust free because I take it to Krown every year. The only way to get the body to last as long the drivetrain is to rustproof with a quality product.

  37. AMD knows many options for rustproofing. In my view, he just can't bring himself to spray rustproofing all over his car like mere mortals who are willing to compromise with a little untidiness for a good cause. 😉
