  1. AMD. Like everything else in the automotive world, there are going to be good turbochargers, average turbochargers and bad turbochargers. One thing all 1,170,000 of us can agree on is that turbos require a 'boost' in maintenance frequency. 😉

  2. Thank you for saying it. I have been driving for 44 years and have watched the ludicrous and irresponsible increase in engine power go unchecked while driving standards have stagnated or declined. We don't benefit from high horsepower cars on public roadways and the increasing death rate proves people cannot handle the doubling of power that has taken place over the last 2 decades. Is there a politician of any stripe with enough backbone to go on the record and speak against this growing danger?

  4. On this side of the Atlantic fanatics never object to turbocharged Diesel engines but the same people feel turbo petrol engines are a harbinger of the end of the world.
