@Alex-pj8nz Australia is capable of being self sufficient. China can't. Australia feeds 80 million plus people a year, with a population of under 30 million.

He missed the key issue that triggered it all...the refusal to use Huawei. The wumao STILL hate on that decision to this day.
8
@Alex-pj8nz The CCP uses more than half of the world's iron ore. Australia produces more than 60% of the world's iron ore. Basic maths says they NEED Australia. It has been a mutually beneficial relationship, until Xi started needing his ego stroked. The CCP solution was Brazil, but they can't supply the scale of iron ore yet. The funny thing is, Aussie companies are going to Brazil because they know how to scale it up successfully. So Aussies businesses will still be the supplier. That's just the easy obvious example. Your script has no genuine answer for that.
6
You missed the key point that set this all off... ...the refusal of Huawei hardware in the telecommunications core.
5
@Alex-pj8nz What about products he CAN'T buy from other countries in the quantities the CCP needs? The CCP needs more than it can produce, to even support it's own population. That's why they are enviously looking around the world trying to grab what they can.

@satriojumeneng7055 The average Australian has no problem with the slowing of the coal mining industry. It was only some rich guys gaining out of that. The environment will be all the better for it. The barley was already sold to India, along with the rice. India turned the rice to rice noodles and sold it to China. Australia forged a new market, and helped a friend create an industry. There is a global food shortage, so being released from binding agreements has turned out to be a blessing for some farmers. The wineries sold a lot from the global advertising when Xi placed tariffs. Other nations showed support, because Australian wine has a great reputation. Seafood prices have dropped in the stores, so high quality seafood is now far more plentiful and cheaper. Fishing quotas can be reduced ensuring sustainability. This is a good thing for the average Australian. Hopefully, there will be cheaper higher education for Aussies too soon. I know the economy from the inside...not from a faceless statistics sheet. Meanwhile, Australia is still breaking trade surplus records anyway. How is that electricity and energy crisis doing? Why are you having to hoard food?
4
@Alex-pj8nz They still need the know how on scaling up and the technology to drive it all. Cheap labour doesn't provide the know how. That is when Australian companies step in. You seem really keen on hating on Australian products just because it's Australian. Why be a hater? Is it for pay?
3
@satriojumeneng7055 Who will replace it? Australia can have the same mutually beneficial relationship with India as they grow...just as Australia has had a mutually beneficial relationship with China as they grew. It's a shame Xi's ego got in the way. ...but we will be happy to see our mates in India thrive, as long as we beat them in cricket occasionally.
3
@satriojumeneng7055 Australia didn't get hit by the GFC, that hit the US. How much influence do you think the US has? If the biggest trade partner was China, then unless Xi does what the US wants then the US had no control over Australian economy. It makes ZERO sense You do realise Australia was a wealthy country long before Mao was starving millions, and it had nothing to do with trade with the US. Australian and US trade is and always has been very small. ANZUS treaty exists. Australia doesn't need to beg for friends...we earned their respect already by showing years of mateship.
3
@Alex-pj8nz Now you are just shooting blind. What has Trump got to do with anything at all? How is he even relevant? You seem mad. Are you OK?
3
@Alex-pj8nz When you find yourself in a hole...stop digging.
3
@kanding3369 I didn't say won...I said done. All you have done is tell someone they can't do something, that they have clearly already done...then got abusive when I pointed out how ridiculous it was to think anyone must listen to you. Then you went to pointless weak attempts at abuse. Basically.. 1. Order people around 2. Find that they ignore you 3. Start with childish abuse when upset 4. Get laughed at. It seems you are learning from the "Xi-the-pooh school of communication"
3
@kanding3369 You try way too hard, and have a seriously overinflated sense competence.
3
@Alex-pj8nz Do they pay 50 cents for incomplete sentences? I am happy to help you earn money for your family at the CCP expense...one message at a time. How long do we need to keep this up?
2
@satriojumeneng7055 So are you saying the Australia chose to ruin it's own mutually beneficial relationship with China, just because someone asked them to? What is in that for Australia? That makes even less sense than Xi being a simp to the US.
2
@satriojumeneng7055 If Australia kept making money with China, then how are the US going to do anything to Australia? It makes zero sense. If you think Argentina and Australia are comparable, then you have been watching too much bad information.
2
@kanding3369 You have resorted to nothing but childish attempts at weak insults...and you can't even get that right. You don't have a valid retort. My work is done here.
2
@satriojumeneng7055 Why are you listening to a person that has no idea what they are talking about? Some basic general knowledge is enough to realise how flimsy that claim is. Who is the Head of State of Australia?
2
@michaelotieno6524 It is what caused the first threats from the CCP. It was their justification to stop coal and lobster imports...along with wine.
2
@Alex-pj8nz Yrs. The PM is an idiot. We can say that about our leadership. We are also able to vote them out. That doesn't justify your bigotry.
1
@Alex-pj8nz You have the son of a disgraced man running your country. He now does to others what was done to him. At least we can speak freely about how we feel about our leadership's failings...and can do something about it. Careful...don't ruin your social score.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 What ate you talking about, wumao?
1
@satriojumeneng7055 How? That makes no sense. I know you want to sew division - it's your job - but all you do is show how little you know about how Aussies feel. Your aim is bad.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 Feel free to explain why Aussies are supposed to be upset, according to you. Careful. It will probably show us more about you, than any Aussies though.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 It is already happening.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 No, actually when our products aren't fetching a premium overseas it actually works out well for the average persons life style. Quality Aussie produce gets cheaper. Besides, the CCP needs the iron still. You need to feed to manufacturers with raw materials...and actual food. Again...why the need to hoard food?
1
@satriojumeneng7055 Australia has been reliable...right up until Xi's ego was bruised by not succeeding forcing Huawei on Australia. I mean, it is the key word that brought you here after all.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 Do you know why the relationship between Australia and China broke down? Feel free to inform us the reasons for the troubles in the relationship, as you see it.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 What? Xi jumped because the US wanted it? Is that what you are saying? Are you claiming Xi was prepared to put his own people through an energy crisis because the US wanted to hurt Australia, and Xi just did ask he was told. Is that really your theory?
1
@satriojumeneng7055 Are you saying Xi is just a US puppet? Careful now.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 Australia doesn't do subservience. I thought the list was hilarious. Poor Xi got his ego bruised because he can't push people around. Hilarious.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 So what? Xi obliged? Is he the US puppet?
1
@satriojumeneng7055 If it did, you wouldn't have been attracted by the key word Huawei. Xi wouldn't have his wumao boys advertising his fragile ego.
1
@satriojumeneng7055 So Xi ruined his relationship with Australia at America's request, and the UK - the owner of Australia - thought it was good. And Xi does what he is told by the US. Is this your theory? Really?
1
@satriojumeneng7055 If you can't explain it, then you must not understand it very well. It clearly sounds like some weird theory that appears to fail at the slightest scrutiny. You can't even describe the basic theory
1
@kanding3369 Bad luck...already did
1
@silveriver9 Copy paste bot. Thinks the rest of the world has a great firewall blocking half of the information like he does.
1
@silveriver9 Pretends to know everything
1
@silveriver9 Your Dunning-Kruger is strong.
1
@silveriver9 You aren't qualified to judge deductive reasoning.
1
@Trextem The Finland government didn't start yelling abuse when Australia decided not to use Nokia. ...but we are supposed to believe Huawei is independent of the CCP, while Xi gets triggered by Australia making their own choice of supplier. Xi got very upset he couldn't force Australia to use Huawei...an apparently private independent company. Seems weird.
1
@Trextem Now the CCP just uses Oppo...and no one thinks to check that.
