In Australia, cancer treatment is part of the health care system. Everyone gets screened regularly or for certain things at certain age groups to ensure early detection and treatment. For example, everyone over 50 gets sent a test kit for bowel cancer every 2 years... like a bizarre birthday present every second year.

You have to be really stretching for a way to ridicule it. Take a win when you get one, then fight for more.

Then, many also assume that there is no alternative if you can afford it. Of course, there are private health organisations and doctors who work for money... and insurance companies feeding in the private market. The public system guarantees a minimum standard for ALL. It isn't one or the other.

They just cut off journalists access and pretend they have no information. Suddenly, the US is bad at information gathering and terrible at building temporary docks - not that anyone is stopping aid from getting in, so the failed dock was never really needed anyway.

@hardy2175 The one the ICJ and ICC have suggested is likely taking place in Gaza. Officially, they believe they have evidence "of acts consistent with genocide" I am sure you have heard about it.

@TaniaShipman I get sent a bowel cancer screening test every 2 years in the mail - as does everyone over a certain age. Free, of course. Early detection is a cheaper alternative. It is in the government interest to find anything quickly. All cancer treatments are covered by the system for everyone.

@TaniaShipman Wait until you realise how the Royal Flying Doctor Service looks after rural emergencies for Aussies and tourists. The outback is a big place and dangerous to cover.
