  2. When you realise that in most US elections there are more people that vote for neither candidate, by not voting, rather than choosing one of the candidates. Most Americans say no to both...and get ignored. Democracy. Australia's system is truly representative of the population, the US system is representative of the eager.

  3.  @zakaruahbones3142  No one claimed perfection in Australian PMs...but neither of those you listed fermented an attempt to over throw a government. ( of there own country or another ) Let's be realistic here.

  4.  @zakaruahbones3142  Joint minister. It is legal to do...as long as he follows protocol. The issue is he didn't follow protocol. We can discuss if it should be legal, but let's not just say it happened, and leave it out there without any facts. That said, he WAS in government, and not looking to over throw one.
