Let corporations lie, and then attack anyone who calls it out. Support for big business over individuals. Welcome to conditioning.

Advertisers lie...you want to protect them and jail a person. Good puppet
2
So you want to protect corporate lies against the public. Welcome to conditioning
2
Support corporations right for false labels. Let's all cheer for their right to lie, and belittle any effort to hold them to account. Yay! CORPORATIONS!
2
Hurrah for misleading packaging!
2
@jpaxonreyes The entire segment is belittling the public for wanting honesty on labels. What did you watch? ...or did you miss the acceptance of false labels?
1
@jd4514 Do you know another way to get corporations to stop misleading consumers, other than the court system? Do tell
1
Getting mixed messages from you. Are you OK with misleading packaging from companies looking to screw people over or not? You say the companies are bad, but then appear to condone misleading packaging.
1
Some people are so dumb they will support corporations' right to lie and deceive consumers.
1
@1958PonyBoy I think anything to hold corporations to account for mislead consumers is indeed a valid fight. Why? Don't you? So enlighten us, what other course of action is available to an individual that wants to actively campaign against misleading corporate advertising? I'll wait... Edit Did the label say "contains gold"? Stop with the false equivalents

@1958PonyBoy You could also eat it straight from the packaging without doing anything, but that doesn't make the label accurate. The package specifically states 3 and a half minutes in the microwave. Petty sure, but a little bit misleading is still misleading.
1
@1958PonyBoy Some how, totally ready in 3 and a half minutes = taking lid off, + adding water + microwave for 3 and a half minutes. Maths isn't my strongest subject, but even I can see that doesn't add up. ...all according to the label. I am not saying it isn't petty, because it is. I have an issue defending misleading labels because "it's only a bit misleading" There is no other course of action for consumers other than the courts. So yes, it's petty click bait, that when you pull it to it's bare essentials is mocking someone for calling out corporate misinformation. The case is petty. So therefore this clip is also petty. ...but worst of all the stance taken is the side of corporate. All rather embarrassing for TYT if you really think about it.
1
@magne7771 Sure, but this is as simple as "Suggested time in microwave is claimed as total prep." It really isn't as complicated as you want to conflate it to be.
1
If false labels are legal, perhaps they can get that changed. It seems the public is conditioned to support companies rights to give false and misleading information...at least a little bit, and let the companies decide what is a little bit misleading but acceptable. Welcome to conditioning.
1
Nah...it tells me American's will support corporations right to lie to them on packaging. Conditioned well. Good minion.
1
@southernfried19 Wow! You are extremely comfortable with your bigotry.
1
@southernfried19 What a typical response from a backwards looking, knuckle dragging moron, who thinks the skin tone he had no influence over grants him something. Good one dinosaur.
1
@southernfried19 So you have a problem with being called "knuckle dragger" but were accepting of the "moron" part. Seems legit.
1
I wonder why you are so conditioned to accept false and misleading advertising. Sure it's petty, but you have your priorities backwards. All hail the corporations!!
