  1. Infinite growth isn't a necessity, until you start to rely on it - then it becomes a feedback loop. Unfortunately, the choice was made long ago to set that loop in motion, so now we are stuck with being reliant on infinite growth - unless a conscious choice is made to change it ( regulation )
