Stop the iron that is building their navy. Seriously.

@acheable You fail to realise these were thriving industries long before the CCP came along. Just another customer that wanted what we have. With a global food shortage, Australia will do well with so much produce no longer tied to trade agreements, and can now get best possible prices on a market fighting for these goods. Thanks CCP. Perfect timing.
5
CH JM What upset Xi was Australia entering the QUAD, the strategic and trade alliance with Japan, the trade agreement with the UK - and probably the ongoing talks about a CANZUK treaty. Don't worry about Australia. We are doing fine...and it really triggers the CCP hard.
4
@209275chu We can live without Chinese goods...can China survive without all those billions of dollars worth of stuff you need from Australia? You can't eat money, money won't house people. Money won't light up the streets. Who really needs who?

Guess Who Attila has entered the chat

What exactly have we done that triggered this level of aggression?
3
@BenBen-tn9xo We never claimed to be any better than anyone else. However, at the same time no one is better than us. You seem upset that you can't tell Australia what to do. Did you need me to call you a whaaaambulance?
3
@acheable There is that unfounded over inflated sense of self importance again, driving your arrogance. Did you ever get around to getting the confidence to actually state what your personal problem with Australia is?
3
@wynerforsure4692 What figures? Those published by the CCP? Ummmm...their word is not worth much now.
3
CH JM No one is crying. You seem to over estimate your importance.
3
@acheable Do you realise you just said an Aussie PM destroyed them by doing business with China in the first place? That's hilarious. I suggest you go back and read what I actually wrote. Your compression is clearly lacking. Hint "...thriving BEFORE the CCP" These businesses didn't just start existing when the CCP came along. They will exist without them as customers.
2
@acheable The Australian people have been asking for less coal to be dug up, but we also know it is the highest grade available. There is a reason others want it. As for food, the current global food crisis provides a great opportunity to find willing buyers in an expensive market. Sounds like good timing for Aussie farmers to have goods to take to market.
2
@acheable And I thought all these grain silos were for long term storage. They don't seem to perish on the long shipping trips. Anyway, last year's is sold already...I am talking future. We have moved on, and that is why there is no backlash. Sorry to destroy your dreams, but there was actually public support for banning the government owned Huawei. You seem to be stuck with the idea that the CCPs plan worked and everything is in turmoil. This is Australia bud, we get on with it and thrive. Why do you have such a problem with another country thriving? That hate in you will make you a bitter old man at a young age, and then kill you. Why so much hating?
2
@acheable Why all the hate towards Australia and Australians? What have any Aussies ever done to you. Why are you being a hater? What exactly is your problem?
2
@acheable Do tell how our PM interfered in another country. Sounds hypocritical, considering the sanctions were a CCP retaliation for making a free choice of technology providers. You have it backwards. How did the PM interfere in the domestic affairs of another country?
2
@acheable Australia chose it's future technology path The CCP didn't like it. Even though they pretend Huawei is a private company, they got upset. The CCP broke a trade agreement, to try to influence Australian government policy on telecommunications, and as punishment. It didn't work, and the world can see exactly who tried to influence others. You are projecting.
2
CH JM I know. What makes you think that is some kind of secret high level knowledge. What's your point?
2
CH JM What are you talking about? Australia is capable of being totally self sufficient, with some of the richest resource deposits in the world. We were thriving when Mao was starving the mainland, and building faulty dams. ...but I think you have highlighted the flaws in your thinking.
2
CH JM You seem to think it's any of China's business who Australia makes alliances with. What makes you think your opinion matters?
2
CH JM How did you make that leap? You seem to be confused by how much it matters. India bought the barley, and I have cheaper steak finally. Australia did fine. The effort failed to cause Australia any major harm. Why would I think that is a bad thing? China can buy and sell to who ever they want. The bit you fail to acknowledge is that Australia can do the same...and it triggers the insecure CCP
2
CH JM I am saying... If you sign up to an agreement, have the self respect and dignity to honour it - or your word is worthless.
2
CH JM So now you are justifying breaking agreements. So if you know you broke them, why get upset when people call you out? Soft
2
CH JM We aren't crying...we are calling for more to stop. If the CCP don't respect our produce then they don't need to take it. Stop the coal and iron. We seem to have come full circle.
2
CH JM Did you know there is a global food shortage? Projected to reach severe proportions over the next couple of years. The UN released hundreds of millions in aid to nations that require assistance, and are looking for supply. Oh no, and here is Australia with all this produce that the CCP decided it doesn't need any more. What will Australia do? Hint - there is always a market for food.
2
CH JM The CCP just sound like they expect the bully boy tactics to work, and then just have a tantrum when they don't. Kinda funny really.
2
CH JM Why is Australia supposed to be grateful to the CCP? Again, what is this over inflated false sense of importance? I now see your issue. You think the world has to be thankful to the CCP...but for what exactly? Perhaps, some respect for Australia for helping defeat Japan, and helping liberating mainland China is appropriate though. Seriously...what makes you think China requires all this gratitude?
2
CH JM You already said Australia is free to buy from who ever they like. That would include NOT buying from someone. You seem butthurt we didn't buy Huawei...all while claiming we are the one's upset. Hypocrisy at it's finest. You are projecting your butt hurt on to others.
2
@NetWarriorsFTW I know right. "You didn't buy Huawei...cry cry cry." "Aussies are upset" They really don't recognise how pathetic their scripts really are.
2
CH JM So you are saying the CCP was butthurt about Huawei, and lashed out by breaking a legal trade agreement. Yeah...we finally agree. So to my original point...the CCPs word is more worthless than a thief - and feel no shame or dishonour because of it. Thanks for talking it through in detail, and showing it for everyone.
2
CH JM Do tell the rest. Show that baseless arrogance some more. If Huawei was actually a private company, perhaps the CCP wouldn't be so butthurt.
2
@NetWarriorsFTW Just trying to help the oppressed wumao feed their family. Although, I think this one might disappear soon. He got too emotional.
2
@NetWarriorsFTW ...and delusional. The unfounded arrogance was hilarious.
2
CH JM Go see Huawei, and Xi...they may need a big hug to deal with their rejection. Poor babies. I have an Eeyore and Tigger toy, they can play with. It's nice to have friends around when you are upset.
2
CH JM What exactly is the point you are trying to make? You argued with my original point, only to end up giving supporting evidence of what I said. Since then you have just attempted insults...badly, but at least you tried. So exactly, other than padding out your post count, what exactly is the point you are trying to make?
2
@dingdongs5208 So it sounds like just a guilty conscience got triggered.
1
Guess Who You should earn enough to feed your family today based on the number of posts. Very efficient. Congratulations.
1
Guess Who How did you make that leap? I am not the one stuck at a terminal, spouting comments from a script, just to feed my family. I have access to free access to internet, to help my Chinese friends get rich, 50 cents a post - at the CCPs expense.
1
@laxhie8157 Value add to our resources. Smelt the ore, sell the steel. Keep the benefits of increased value as an Aussie asset. We survived very well prior to China becoming our biggest trade partner. Time to invest in infrastructure, and create ling term wealth as opposed to resource stripping for a quick buck.
1
Guess Who You really do make some weird jumps and links. More training required.
1
Guess Who wumao in Singapore?
1
Guess Who now I have guessed...what do I win?
1
Guess Who Hahaha...triggered. Seems I hit a soft spot.
1
Guess Who I see that comprehension isn't your strongest skill.
1
Guess Who Yeah...no worries bud. You are not real bright are you numbat?

1
@acheable Now you are just making stuff up in hope.
1
@acheable What is that about feet and eyes? Those words in that order give the impression of a sentence...but on further examination it is just word salad.
1
@acheable I didn't slander anyone at all. I mean, it is all right there. It's not like people can't just check if I slandered anyone. You however have made your bitterness towards Australia and Australians very apparent. ...but you need to stop demanding how you want people to act. It doesn't work that way. Haven't you worked it out yet? Edit spell
1
@acheable Anyway, what exactly is your issue with Australia and Australians? It's not a difficult question.
1
@acheable No...I am asking what your problem is. Can you speak for yourself? Why do you refer to China when I ask what your problem is with Australia? Tell us, why do you have a problem with Australia and Australians. Note - I would reply to the other post about 33 years something - but it made no sense to me.
1
CH JM People complain to world governing bodies when one side decides they are not strong enough to honour their own signature. Like the Aussie trade, and HK. It's not our fault the word of a homeless beggar is worth more than Xi. He doesn't honour his word. He isn't man enough.
1
CH JM You called out someone showing the CCP didn't live up to their own word in a trade agreement? Sounds like shame and embarrassment to me. Did you think Australia would just accept the bs quietly? Foolish
1
CH JM I got you to admit that it's the CCP that is butthurt because of Huawei, and is lashing out. ...and to start defending the breaking of international agreements, rather than just denying it. And now you are bordering on flat out threats and resorted to personal insults. I guess you have shown you are qualified to recognise an idiot.
1
CH JM I did go back and read it all. It's hilarious.
1
@NetWarriorsFTW he is getting paid by the post. He wants to keep going and get PAID.
1
CH JM I believe to apply you need only bend over and lick boots. Both things are required.
1
@91XboxNinja Why the hate? Why so aggressive? What has any Australian ever done to you?
1
@UC2RgMPPYplPowlKw1_y1xJA You clearly have never been here. I went to school with a family of Chinese heritage, that are 4th generation Australians...longer than my family has been here. I don't know what isolated incident may have occurred to give the propaganda arm of the CCP enough to claim any of that, but it is ridiculous. Australia has been supplying food, iron and coal for years, helping build China. Chinese students by the thousands come and live and study here. Australian soldiers died on China's mainland liberating it from Japan in WW2. And suddenly you want to claim we are the aggressive one's while threatening WW3. Learn to think for yourself.
1
CH JM Are the contributions you mention worthy of respect? Thanks for providing many examples to disprove the narrative that Australians are racist and treat Chinese, or an other nationalities badly. Australians are known the world over for being egalitarian and for helping those who need it. That's why we were happy to provide a lot of the resources China has needed to grow.
1
CH JM I figured what you provided proved my point, so needed no more. I get the feeling no amount of facts are going to change your mind. Again, what happened to you to make you so hateful towards Australians?
1
CH JM Stop assuming things based on nothing but your imagination. Try reality based on facts. It's refreshing.
1
CH JM I just want to know what happened to cause so much hate. If it is justified, I might understand better. Try to help me understand the basis of your apparent hatred. Without answering, I can only assume it is unfounded. For your health, I hope you get over it.
1
CH JM You provided examples of Australian's helping others. Now you almost fail to recognise your own words.
1
What is the CCP's actual problem? Why is their spokesperson saying those things?
