How will they build their war machine without the iron ore? I would be fine with stopping of selling it to them.

Has it been that long we can wheel out Jeff and forget his history? Banking on short memory news cycles

daniel tan It's ok. We will keep the food and the coal. Burning the money will keep you warm, but you can't eat it. Respect goes both ways. Don't bite the hand that LITERALLY feeds you.
32
Time to stop sending them the iron they are building their navy with.. before it lands back here unwelcome. Why are we supplying the war machine they are using to threaten us? Some things aren't worth the money.
28
10% Export Duty on Iron Ore exports to China. That's what is important to them. Hit them back.
26
In public, resulting in the death of innocent children... is NOT targetted
21
@b.t7056 He must have. He didn't swear once.
19
@oldwong5977 Free is when everyone let's others live how they want. China can be China Australia can be Australia UK can be the UK The US can be the US Russia, can be Russia Hong Kong can be Hong Kong Taiwan can be Taiwan France can be France etc How is enforcing a system on those that don't want it, supposed to be considered 'free'? I'll wait....
17
Seriously? You have no shame at all.
16
Why does he not condemn Israel for the authoritarian oppression it has perpetrated for the last 50 years?
16
Justin Xie Free the Uighurs.
13
@harryfarber6435 A croc never needs to tell you twice
12
Alba Alba He was supposed to protect his flock. He failed miserably.
10
Facts? At least make your propaganda believable
10
You drag them closer to fascism until they start pulling back. When they relax, you start dragging them again. The easiest way to remove civil liberties is to have the population ask for it.
10
Did you have 3.5 million grandmas? That's what he needs
10
@MrOzgooner You have that backwards. Australia can feed its own. Australia can produce its energy. China relies on Australia for energy, iron and food for starters.
10
I saw this on US news services yesterday. ...and I am from Oz This is just Fox News with a paint job and Aussie accent.
10
Every multimillionaire bends over like a limp wet rag when their gains are in jeopardy. Willingness to do anything for the dollar is a weakness easily exploited...and China do it daily.

Oct 7 WAS retaliation for what the UN believes is an apartheid state. International law still means something to some people.
9
Come on over. Bring your friends. HK'ers are most welcome.
8
When someone shows their true self, believe them first time.
8
Now... FREE David McBride
8
Then why didn't he do something about it? He was President. He did nothing to fix it.
8
No...this is Murdoch media.
7
Wow! You call tax cuts for workers a problem. No shame
7
Diana'd. The royals have centuries of experience.
7
@burger2229 Why do they only do it for dangerous weather?. Why can't they show us without risking injury to a presenter?
7
@fanyechao2761 You can't actually believe that. Do you believe all the lies you are told? Do you actually think we don't know you are paid to spurt hate, by a government who hates on his own people? Think for yourself, if you are brave enough. What exactly is your problem with Australia? Jealousy?
7
@sunrise1975italia Why would you expect better from Britain?
7
@azzajames7661 It seems like you are trying to silence the opinion of the owner of the pub. They, too, are entitled to free speech. Free speech doesn't mean a business must supply you with a venue to talk. Tgat is preposterous.
7
Dog whistles?
7
@iggy5347 Nuclear powered, not nuclear armed. It's a simple concept. How are you so confused by it?
7
@Boomatic That makes no sense at all. Complete collapse of logic
6
You mean the guy that shipped millions of units of PPE to China in Febuary? Yeah, sure, he can't be bought. ...but don't let truth get in the way of blind swooning.
6
@fanyechao2761 We are not anti China...we are anti CCP. Secondly, we trade respectfully until someone tries to think they are somehow better - rather than different. We actually wish you weren't forced to sit in a little room and spurt hate at anyone for a handful of coin. If only you could have it as good as an Aussie. Maybe, actually stand up for yourself. Why no courage to stand up for yourself?
6
@xinyiquan666 Do tell. What exactly has Australia done to you for you to feel the need to speak hate and vitriol? ...or do you need the money that bad you will say whatever you are told to? We all know you only have access to this site under supervision. Are we making you good money today friend? I hope we are. This was your plan to make extra - I hope your boss doesn't realise your plan.
6
We used to turn it to steel. Daytime smelters run on solar. Do we have the space for that many solar cells.
6
2 cases. Your comment got more likes, than dead people who voted. Is ignorance truly blissful?
6
It's just Fox with a paint job and Aussie accent. This comment on every Sky video, starts to look like a standard Sky advertising department post.
6
Hating for the sake of hating.
6
@xinyiquan666 I like the part where you say '50 cent' to us. Confirmed.
5
...and our cousins the Kiwis. You want them with you, and not against.
5
Or maybe, actually value add to the iron ore here...and create more wealth that way. ...and build stuff for us, and not their war machine. Seriously, why are we supplying their iron for warships?
5
It's Murdoch media. Fox News with an Aussie accent and paint job
5
@rogcrater8193 Why don't China let the ICC investigate the Uighur allegations? If they are as innocent as promised, then the ICC wastes time money and resources, only to prove on the world stage, that they were innocent the whole time. Cost to China is nothing, and they get to laugh at their accusations. Why is this a bad idea?
5
Murdoch media isn't mainstream?
5
He is gone now, so there is hope yet.
5
Especially when you consider that the only reason you spent so much was the ridiculous price gouging increases, from companies making record profits
5
NASA got a fine for littering. So there is international precedent for assignment of responsibility for damages.
