@sidetracsteve9086 I think the farmers may even come out on top. The UN is handing out assistance money to countries to deal with a global food crisis. With China's timing, the farmers are free to look in to markets at a time when prices will be at a premium. At the very least we get to help some nations that will be grateful for assistance.

@LincolnL-s3o What are you talking about? Australia did fine before Mao even started killing millions. You seem to believe the CCP line that Australia came out of the 3rd world at the same time as China. Can you even find Australia on a map?

@LincolnL-s3o Yes...India is the world's pharmacy, and China has been copying and replacing that, but India wins. PPE. A small company in Australia got a grant and stepped up production in Australia to make our own PPE. It is already replenishing stock piles. The beauty of a smaller population, and plenty of resources is that it can quickly be made possible. Chinese scale manufacturing isn't needed to supply Australia...it was just convenient. Remove the convenience and it becomes less appealing. Aussies are an adaptable bunch.

@タコの王 I know. It's just a matter of time before China destroys itself from the inside...again. It's all built on a house of cards and it will all come crashing down soon. I just have fun playing with wumao...helping them feed their family at the expense of the CCP, 50 cents at a time.

@yellowbird1170 The Australian government long ago recognised the original owners of the land of the country known as Australia. They have been many claims of tribal lands - Uluru for example - and Arnhem Land, where native traditional living is thriving today. Later, the Australian government made, in parliament, an apology to the original owners for treatment in the past. An acknowledgement of wring doing was recognised. In my opinion, much more could be done, but I am quite sure there are some lessons there for everyone.
