@kenreckless9845 The arrogance of calling someone arrogant for pointing out the arrogance of British colonialism. The lack of self awareness. It's blinding.

@advanceaustralia9026 Most monarchies of history have failed. The Traditional Owners way of life survived for more than 50,000 years. You appear to have very limited understanding of success.
2
@advanceaustralia9026 I was using your limited terminology. Possession is the law you follow. They had possession. If you wish to prosecute using a chosen set of definitions and laws, then you can't deny a defence of the same.
2
@advanceaustralia9026 You named one single example that is withering in scope all the time. Is that your proof it's the most successful ever? You have low standards
2
@caydcrow5161 Now you are trying too hard to distract from your ignorance. Your flailing is enough to show what you have to resort to. At least you tried. Good for you.
2
I thought the point of government was to make appropriate changes to move forward. Why are you so against progess?
2
@FFlores-fr2ew You are responsible, if you wish to perpetuate the resilt. Wake up.
2
@FFlores-fr2ew Yes.. the nation needs to take ownership and responsibility for the results of the actions of colonisation. ...or is it only others that need to recognise their responsibilities?
2
@vanya I will type slowly... Reconciliation is good for the nation. It's not complicated.
2
@vanya The process started. Or is "oops sorry" the best you are capable of? That kind of pathetic to admit.
2
@kenreckless9845 As "Australia" in it's colonised form didn't exist before that, it seems like a weird thing to say they made it better. However, making it better for you isn't the point in question though now is it? It's not for you to say if it made the "better" for the colonised...unless you display some arrogant hubris.
2
@ventura1893 ...and no, South Australia was colonised by free settlers. You can't even get that right.
2
You make it sound like they wanted those things. Your arrogance is astounding. Your lack of logical thought is bewildering. You arrogant ignorance is expected.
1
@serenasmith26 The old "go back to where you came from" rhetoric. The trouble is, you need to be careful how you word that trope in this case...because it shines a mirror, doesn't it.
1
@serenasmith26 Who did Australia's Traditional Owners colonise? I'll wait...
1
Why? ...because she didn't jump through your hoops? Who tf do you are?
1
@deepblue69uk I am not sure you are qualified to recognise decency.
1
What? Are Monarchies are some kind of modern move towards the future. You fool.
1
@caydcrow5161 Whose nation? Think that through again. Whoops..think that through just once
1
@advanceaustralia9026 Sociopaths gain control by birth right instead.
1
@Sean Greenhalgh How does that address the historical inequities?
1
@Sean Greenhalgh History begins now. Being historical doesn't mean they no longer exist. Yes, definitions matter.
1
@caydcrow5161 Live it...numbat. Try again, drongo
1
@gregmatthies8128 Sure...that doesn't make colonisation a good thing. That's just what you want.
1
@gregmatthies8128 You don't own anything. You have some temporary rights to it.
1
@gregmatthies8128 Too late...I found minerals. I now have full mining rights and you will be removed next week.
1
@gregmatthies8128 Did you think...really? Let's stop pretending here.
1
@vanya wtf has the UN got to do with this? Get more tin foil...watch less "Murdoch for morons" Y
1
@kenreckless9845 You have no statistics from prior to colonisation as a base line. Every your pathetic attempts to be funny show lack of basic logic.
1
@ventura1893 What are you claiming now? What are you trying to prove? I know it's hard to believe, but they do exist. You have some bizarre claims.
1
@ventura1893 The genocide wasn't complete no matter how much you obviously wish it to be true. What point are you trying to make here?
1
We stole her ancestors land and forced her to pledge allegiance to an outdated system of monarchy. The oath requires changing. You need empathy.
1
@austcro75 Do you seriously think it's a minority that see no relationship with the monarchy? What world do you live in?
1
@vanya People asking the British Empire to take responsibility for what they stole, and in many cases forcing it's return is nit exclusive to Australia's Traditional Owners. You seem to think it is somehow not standard international practice. What rock do you live under?
1
@vanya If your grand parents stole the Mona Lisa would you get to say "oh sorry" and keep it?
1
@vanya Technically, yes WE are members of the Commonwealth
1
@vanya Is your ignorance wilful?
1
@robbiesheppard3280 What made you leap to that totally unfounded judgement? Luckily you are here to tell people which part of heritage needs to be ignored.
1
@vanya Why not? They enjoy espousing the benefits they believe it has brought them, so why not exactly?
1
@vanya We still reap the benefits.
1
@vanya The Commonwealth of Australia is responsible...so the responsible party pays. It's not rocket surgery here.
1
@robbiesheppard3280 No...I just see through you extremely thin veil.
1
@vanya Start with the lists of Stolen Generations, and any other census over the past 200 years. These are fairly basic concepts that you seem to think require a rocket surgeon again.
1
@robbiesheppard3280 Then please, feel free to put in to words the irony as you see it. Tell us what you really mean, if you are up to it.
1
@JC-lu4se At least you tried. Good for you. Seriously though, did that even make logical sense in your head?
1
@robbiesheppard3280 Look at you doing anything to avoid simply stating exactly what you tried to say. Expected.
